    • Hi Potters! A very good Saturday. I hope you're all had a enjoying a good week and are having a lovely weekend.
    • I hope you're all well and not low in spirits, whatever the reason. Meanwhile, however you're feeling, do get well soon. For now, love and virtual hugs from us all here at SPC ❤️

Well I'm jiggered Siju! They certainly timed them both well! It's so lovely when they get on so very well. Our eldest DGD's eldest (9) and youngest (5) both share the same date 27th, so close to your two! The same date as my eldest male cousin, he was so proud they all shared the same birth date. Sadly he passed away 3 yrs ago, I did put it on here at the time. Plus, our youngest DGD's eldest boy was born on the 26th September! How close could they get Trouble is there's one between them (6) and he definitely isn't a happy lad on their birthday poor little darling. 😰

    Brilliant work LMD!!

Excellent potting Lost!! Not long to go now.

I'm delighted you're so looking forward to DDay ThriftyPrincess40!!

Oh bless you dear Vicky, I'm afraid it'll be raw for you for a while yet until you reach the stage when you come to fully accept it and there everyone differs. His funeral will make a difference as there will really be nothing more you can do then, aside from clearing his home through. Be sure to keep all the items you hold dear, you'll have them to cherish always.

Are you still teaching or in different line of work? Very well done with your potting and TCB 12p! All the very best with the funeral. Take very great care xxx

    Enjoy a Wonderful Weekend folks.

@VickyA_2 sending you hugs. Been very hard with my son over the summer so not been around much. I have a dyslexia assessment for him booked for end of November and currently in the process of arranging ADHD and Autism assessments under the NHS Right to Choose. @MrsShazbat Derek is gorgeous. I'm running the Great North Run next year for Guide Dogs for the Blind; I'm promised guide dog cuddles at the end and them cheering me on at mile 6.

    • Hi SPCers! A very good Thursday. I hope you're all had a enjoying a good week, in spite of the very chilly day today.😰

I'd imagine you'll be so very pleased when Thursday's over JynErso,  let's just hope the tummy pains don't stop it from happening! Fingers crossed the ultra sound shows there aren't any problems and the op goes ahead well.

Not long then until Declaration Day's here!!
Hi Hetty, it's good to read all your news. What a great cause to help you forward in the Great North run!My eldest DGGS (9) has dyslexia, but nobody seems to be bothering about it. He can read, but after he's finished he doesn't know what it was about. Our DGD was in touch with the school when he was 7, the teacher said she realised but they couldn't do anything until he was 8. He often puts up his hand in class to ask about something he's read and finds perplexing, but the teacher completely ignores him! Our DGD has been to the school a few times but they just don't seem to bother (or care)! His paternal grandmother also has dyslexia, but I've no idea whether she received any help or not. I'll be interested to know how your dear son gets on with his assessment?

    Another brilliant amount potted LMD!!

£20 transferred to the SPC account.

Enjoy a really Wonderful Weekend folks.

Glad your surgery is all done @JynErso . Wishing you well in your ongoing recovery.

Thoughts still with you @VickyA_2 . The shock and grief must still be very raw. One day you will feel much better than you do right now, but of course the hole in your life will always remain. I miss my own dad every day but the pain of losing him is so much less now. There’s no set timescale or process to deal with it so take it a day at a time.

I’ve had 3 separate roadkill finds in the last few weeks. A 5p, a 10p and a penny. There’s still cash out there on the roads and pavements despite the huge fall in usage. A work colleague instantly trumped me by picking up a pound coin!
So close now to opening day. I have had a very good potting time this year round so am looking forward to the count up.
Thoughts with anyone having tough times
