- Hi Potters! I hope you've had a very good Thursday everyone!
- I hope you're all well and not too low in spirits, whatever the reason. Meanwhile, however you're feeling, do get well soon. For now, love and virtual hugs from us all here at SPC ❤️
So very many thanks for your lovely words Ant, very kind indeed. Sadly, T's higher BP number has gone way back up again today when having his Birthday check. We're both so very disappointed, that's as far as she got with the exam because as she said, it just wasn't worth doing blood tests anyway. High BP runs in his family with his mum, her sister and 2 brothers.T's 2nd eldest brother who died aged 47, he'd otherwise have been about 90 by now, though sadly he'd been a drinker and smoker (T's neither!). T's middle brother also died from a stroke due to high HB. Yet his eldest brother died in May aged 90 (his Father's genes. T's the second youngest of 9 and has always been concerned about his BP since he was about 50. The Dr increased his tablets again and wants to see him in 2 weeks time. Meanwhile, she did wish him a very Happy Birthday!
I totally agree with your words about ThriftyPrincess40, so very true.
Ah your back again MrsShazbat, and what an excellent amount you've saved!! Congratulations to you on a great sum of £2,914.12!!! 😊
A brilliant amount declared from you too Ant! £2,864.44 is an excellent sum saved throughout the year! Congratulations to you too and great to hear LMD's running a thread from which you've benefited!!! 😊
Not too bad an amount from me, given we're not able to save cash. So, £600 saved via our account. Not so good as last year, but we're happy enough with it anyway.
Oh please don't worry JynErso, as in the past there have been members with a lot less declared than you, but we all live very different lives. Some on a lot less wages than you, and some with a great deal more.
The most important thing is that the amount saved by you is money you can do something with! If it goes to help out at Christmas then that alone is huge!Mostly though the amount you've declared has been money saved and NOT SPENT OR WASTED!! So be very proud of all you've saved, very proud indeed!!!Congratulations to you!! 😊Very many thanks for your very kind words. 😉 Do get you arm well!!
Have a really great Thursday folks.
- Sue

Happy declaration day everyone!
I'm here after totting up my physical and online pots to declare £4194.42 which includes 118.87 Euro which will be put aside for spending on my holiday in December. It doesn't include an old £1 coin (no idea how I have that) as I don't know if I can actually deposit it.Well done everyone, it's been a long year and the cost of living has been crazy so whatever you've managed to save be proud of yourselves 👏
HUGE thanks to @Sue-UU for running the challenge again, despite lots going off in your personal/family life. We really appreciate you! 💜
Hopefully see you all on the 2027 thread!
