A tiny bit of potting has taken place over the last few days - a bit of a sweep of my bank account to round it down to a nice multiple of £5, so the "excess" has been potted.
@Sue-UU Yes, Rutland is where the bird fair is held! There's an active osprey breeding programme at Rutland Water, but the birds will now be on their way back to their wintering grounds in Spain and/or west Africa. Some of the Rutland ospreys make it back to their winter home of The Gambia and Senegal!
Great to hear that T is improving. Little by little he'll get there! It's understandable that he's feeling a little cautious about going far in the car.
Payday tomorrow, so there will be a little more potting then! I'll be back.

Hi all Potters! A very good Wednesday to you all. Enjoy a cooler week.
- I hope everyone is well and not too low in spirits. However, if you're not feeling well in any way, do get much better soon.
- Meanwhile, however you're feeling get well soon, and for now, love and virtual hugs from us all here at SPC
I totally agree about laughter, Ant, the very best medicine indeed. I'm really pleased that your friend met Joe Root.Good for you in gaining more coins for potting!
I had a feeling that Rutland was where the bird fair was help Vicky. Yes, the majority of our beloved birds will be on their way back to the winter homes now. Nightjars don't usually go back until the end of August, although we're nearly there now. I wonder if some of them fled when the New Forest wildfires were so very bad, though there are plenty of them at Aylesbeare in Devon, more up country too.
You're quite right about T slowly recovering, though he and I have been quite surprised at just how tired he still is.
I'm pleased all is well with you JynErso. I know what you mean about life getting in the way, but at least we know you're well, still saving too. Look after yourself.
£10 transferred to SPC account.

I'm back! Bit jet lagged but very happy after an amazing holiday. We flew to Calgary and travelled on the Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver then boarded a cruise to Alaska from Seattle. Absolutely amazing scenery and wildlife, ospreys, bald eagles, bears, whales, glaciers etc such an unforgettable experience. DS and family moved in to our house on the day we went on holiday as a temporary base until their new house goes through (hopefully not too long!) So we've come back to a bit of chaos 🤣
Back to potting £5.....perhaps some change too. Enjoy the Bank Holiday xxx

Ooh, welcome back! We did Vancouver to Jasper on the RM in mid-July! Amazing! Real bucket list stuff. Next time we'd like to do an Alaska cruise.

A very warm welcome back Siju. Wow what a wonderful holiday that was!!! We've got friends at Prince George, a fair way after Calgary, but their son lives at Calgary so they often visit him and vice versa. What an amazing cruise from Alaska to Seattle must have been!!! Little wonder you saw so much terrific wildlife, truly unforgettable indeed indeed!!!
I'm so pleased your DS and his family had temporarily moved in to your house and were all there to greet you when you arrived home, or should that read all that you've been missing out on!! 😂 You both being jet lagged too!! 😂 Our grandson always tries to sleep as much as possible on his journeys to keep away from any jet lag. Very well done with your £5 plus change potted too!
Have what's left of a wonderful Bank Holiday too!Enjoy what's left of of a WONDERFUL BANK HOLIDAY all!!

Another 26p became payable on TopCashback, so it was duly moved into my account. Better in mine than theirs.
