A bit of glorious rain this morning. So nice to see it., even though it’s just a sprinkle. Like you say Sue, thoughts with those affected by the fires.
My pot is building nicely. It will be nice to have a paid for break to show for it in the next few months.

Haha, I'll wrap myself in cotton wool for a while I think! Absolutely devastating for anybody caught up in these fires 💔💔 You're so right @AntoMac a sprinkle of rain is so nice to see....who'd have thought us Brits would be longing for rain!

Stay safe and cool everyone xxx

Hi all Potters! A very good day to you all. Enjoy the rest of the week

    • I hope everyone is well and not too low in spirits. However, if you're not feeling well in any way, do get very
    • well soon!
    • Meanwhile, however you're feeling get well soon, and for now, love and virtual hugs from us all here at SPC ❤️

Hi Ant, I hope quite agree about the rain, but by golly didn't it soon disappear from the pavement and roads, so sad.By gosh haven't they had it terribly in Spain and France! They really could do with a fortnight's worth of pouring rain to at least help (hopefully) douse all the flames.
It's good to hear that your pot is filling up nicely. It won't be too long now before we all start counting up. I've already been thinking about you and the family going away for your break!!

I think you'll need to Siju!! 😅I really can't imagine what on earth they're going through in France and Spain, poor folk. I can just about recall what 76 was like for us all, truly atrocious heat and for so long!!
I wish we'd get more rain and for longer. I'll definitely enjoy just watching it fall into the pond when it does come. As you say, it's not often we long for rain, but we certainly are now!! 💦 🌨️You stay safe too, and definitely cool!

Excellent news MrsShazbat, it'll be so good for you, for her/him too.

Enjoy a good week, folks, and DO BE CAREFUL IN THIS HEAT, PLEASE!

Good morning everyone! I'm back from a wonderful holiday, and whilst I was away £100 of cashback became payable, so that was potted immediately!

@AntoMac I've seen The Wurzels live, too! When I was at university they were booked for the "Agric Bash"! Always brings up good memories. And I suggest that you visit Lincolnshire, like @MrsShazbat! I was born there and my parents still live just north of Lincoln.

So, other than the £100 or so of cashback, I've been able to pot another £100ish after payday. Certainly a healthier looking pot.

  • Does the money potted for the 1p count for the tins? I’ve just potted £70 cash for July. End of the year the tins are going to bank into my emergency fund.
