I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I've had a few bits of cashback become payable and have potted about £7. I've also just had a payout from my YouGov surveys, so that's another £50. I've done well out of surveys in 2025 and have potted £150 in total; long may it continue as 2024 was a little lean!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared3

# No.8 - Rummaged through the car and put a nice stash of coins in my sealed jar
Although I decided that keeping £5 in £1 coins in the coffee holder was prudent, especailly if I forget my shopping trolly token
I also found £1 roadkill when I took babyface for a walk late last night - Every little helps
My best roadkill was a morning in early Spring when I was walking along a country road to have 2 x £10 notes come floating towards me!
I did have a look around to see if anyone was about, but it was dead as a dodo - Wondering who owned the money tree? That's probably why I end up finding notes in my jacket pockets

Hi all SPCers, I hope you're enjoying yourselves and staying warm, getting for the snow/sleet that's coming! For all those who are poorly or low in anyway, do get well soon. For now love and hugs from us all.
Very well done Hetty! Keep up the good work and you'll soon be competing with Ant!! 😂Very many thanks ThriftyPrincess40, me too, she was a little more cheerful today, though it's the first day she's seen a Dr so that reassured her.I'm so pleased about saving, I think most of us get a great feeling about potting and excited about what October will bring! 😲I agree with you Ant, the ideas from others can be really inspiring for the rest of us!And there was me urging Hetty on to compete with you with regards to roadkill - still you never know!Well done with all you've potted!Excellent ThriftyPrincess40! Keep your eye on the ground, but be careful in doing so! 😂My hubby used to think I was bonkers at one time LMD, not so much when he saw how it mounted up! Nowadays he's first to pick it up! 🤗 Well done you and good to hear hubby's so very much better now!! 😀A brilliant sum potted today!!👏Very well done with your latest potting Hetty! We had a lovely Christmas thanks Vicky and I hope you did too.Excellent with your YouGov £50 as well as your other odds and ends!! 👏I take it that babyface is your dog Dizzycap?Look out Ant, you've got another contender with the roadkill! 🙄I've had £5 notes before in a below ground car park where the rain used to come in, a couple of soggy £5ers, but they soon dried out and I was patient!! 🤗You were extremely fortunate with the 2 x £10ers Dizzycap!! 😯 I expect the poor loser was searching for those left right and centre for ages, bless him or her. Good potting during the last couple of days!Good for you Hetty.Sorry folks but I've had real problems getting on the thread today, I'm afraid I'm unable to 'thank' anyone or even see who else has thanked any of you, very strange and the first time I've ever had such problems.SueA VERY SAFE, HEALTHY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!Declaration Day for SPC 0026 is October 22nd.............BEFORE --- BUT NO LATER, please! If anyone would like to join the thread, please just ask at anytime and you will be made very welcome[/SIZE]Sealed Pot Challenge 001 [/B] SizeGrand Totals of all members[/B] (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j2025£39,45.16!!!

@ Sue-UU - Yes, babyface is a gorgeous Miniature Dachshund (HRH) with an absolute huge personality
who everyone loves to pieces
I Found some extra change floating about in a couple of drawers, of all places, which I've thrown in the sealed pot
No idea how much is in the pot, except the £50 in notes, but as long as it gains pounds through the 10 months of saving, I'm more than happy

Hi all and Merry Twixtmas!£26.15 went into the pot this week, haven't done any purse clearouts yet which is how I plan to add more next year.We didn't end up going down south the weekend before Xmas. I was too stressed about the thought of how the dog was going to deal with it, based on initial experiences, and then DH couldn't shake his cough so unfortunately we had to forfeit £165 for the cancellation. His niece had also just finished her last chemo as well so it was a no-brainer, albeit a slightly expensive one.The dog is still settling in, but we signed on the dotted line on the 16th
which was 2 days before the anniversary of her rescue by the sanctuary. They then posted a story on Facebook on Christmas Eve as that was her pups' first birthday, along with a photo of us, and now other people have responded with pictures (so far) of one of her sisters, one of her sons and one of her sisters' pups, which is lovely. She is coming on steadily and we have to keep reminding ourselves that it's only been 5.5 weeks!Happy New Year to you all when it comes xSPCNo.19 #20 (18 £1752.64; 17 £562.86; 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
