Hi all Potters, have a great Boxing Day and weekend!

For all those of you who are poorly or low in anyway, do please get well soon.

For now here's much love from us all here at SPC  <3

A very warm welcome to you, ThriftyPrincess40  (SPC 011) it's lovely to have you with us. Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number alongside your name above as well as on the 2nd Post of Page 1, and please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how to save with the challenge. We always empty our pots and declare what's in them in October, this year's date Declaration Date is Thursday 24th October 2026  However, please declare on or before, but no later .  Please pop your SPC No on your signature as it's a great help.

Hi ThriftyPrincess40 at certainly looks as though you're going to do everything possible to save money rather than possibly waste it, good for you!
Also, whatever you're able to add up by the end of the year on other MSE challenges you're most welcome to add them to your declaration here on SPC by the end of 24th October 2026.

Very many thanks for the really lovely welcome to ThriftyPrincess40 Siju, very much appreciated. I see you had a lovely though chaotic Christmas, have a really peaceful Boxing Day and following few days in preparation of your DGS's birthday! 😂
The husband of our very dear friends rang this morning to say M had been taken in to hospital yesterday. She's not been feeling at all well recently and felt terrible at tea time. She then had an continuousl nose bleed until the paramedics came! A quarter of an hour later she was on her way to hospital. Her hubby rang early this morning (he didn't like to disturb us yesterday), I wish he had as life is far more important. However, he rang early today to say she'd been thoroughly tested but wouldn't know anything concrete unil tomorrow. I do so hope she'll recover soon!

Happy Boxing day Dizzycap and more excellent potting from your finds!

Hopefully, you'll soon find your mislaid £20 LMD, but for now, very well done with your £10 potted!! I hope you're both enjoying the Christmas period.

    ******************************************************************

SPCs GRAND TOTAL FOR SPC 18 is

an excellent sum of £39,45.16!!! 👏👏👏

I was quite thrilled to be honest as sadly, we've lost members, a real shame. So, please folks stay with us as however much you're able to pot, it's far better to save than possibly waste, especially as this cost of living crisis goes on and on!! BE SO VERY PROUD OF EVERY PENNY SAVED!!

    Woohoo, another new member.
    Welcome to you @ThriftyPrincess40
In keeping with the theme of this challenge being a kind of reverse Weight Watchers, my pot has gained another two pounds today in the form of a couple of pound coins.

AntoMac - Well done with the 2 pounds pot weight gain  :D
LittleMissDetermined - I really hope you find your missing £20 so that your pot gains financial weight soon!
@ThriftyPrincess40 - I hadn't even thought about rumaging through the car! Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow under the guise of cleaning the inside of the car? I know they'll be loose change as I always dump it in the coffee holders, especially £1 coins just in case I need one for a shopping trolly should I not have my trolly disc on me or another kind of chocolate, sticky bun emergency  :D
Sue-UU- I hope your friend gets both answers & gets better soon xxxx It's always seems difficult to break sad / bad news around Christmas  <3
Time for a nice mug of coffee  ;) Ta-ta for now xx
