3. Once submitted, you will receive an email from MONY Group telling you about the £25 Amazon Voucher and....4. If you have the TopCashBack APP on your phone, TCB will notify you of the pending £45 cash back within 5-10 minutes
You can also check your TCB online to make sure your application has tracked.
Thank you so much for the detailed instructions you provided yesterday. I only spotted your posts late (around 17:50) in the day, having previously been unaware of this offer, and ended up completing my application in something of a rush. Thought I'd followed all the steps correctly, and was aware of the 'jigsaw piece' flashing at one point, but on checking on the TCB website found no indication it had been tracked. No notification in the app either.
Initially I assumed I'd messed up, but checked again this morning to see if the offer was recognised as potential missing cashback. It was in the list showing the correct time of my application, so I have submitted a claim. No email from MONY Group as yet about the £25 Amazon Voucher, so assume I missed the deadline for that.
Thanks again.0 -
How long does it take for the £40 cashback via TCB to track for opening the TSB spend & save account? (This is without going via the MSE link or using the TCB app…..simply just doing it through TCB desktop site for the £40.)0

Open another. The T&C's do not state that it's for new customers only nor does it state only one Spend & Save account per customer.Doris17 said:Sadly I already have a TSB current account.😞Personal MSE 2026 Money Saving Challenges:# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £295.85 / £667.95 (5)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 - £7495.78 / £12,000 (5)# £10-a-Day Challenge 2026 - £522.44 / £1825 (5)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 (24/10) 286.45 / £400 (5)# No.27 - Top Up EP 2 £1105 / £2880 (5).# Decluttering Challenge (5)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - Completed# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge 2026 - Completed# Make £2026 in 2026 - Completed# Spectos Mailagent - ReadyMotto 'SAVE before you spend'0 -
If it showed on your cashback list, then it tracked so why it didn't reward seems very strange, unless there was a cut off point on the 31st at the close of business which may have been earlier due to it being New Years Eve. As I opened mine late night on the 30th, I'm not able to know for sure. The MONY Group email arrived after confirming my email address on the online TSB application form before the application was fully submitted - junk mail?HHUK said:

May only be possible to get the monthly 5er for the first 6 months by making 20 transactions but not sure if that's worth a hard search.

These are the 1st January, 2026 exclusions for the now £40 cashback through TCB for TSB bank account openings and not the pre 31st December, 2025 £45 cashback through TCB - different exclusions: never received cashback through TCB for opening a TSB account, which I haven't.The only bank that's never changed it's main exclusion is First Direct. I had a first direct current account for a number of years before bank 'switch offers' when they had a run of consecutive 12 month Regular Savings accounts @ a fixed 8%; that's going back a few years
and will never be able to get a FD switch offer because one of its bank switch offer exclusions has always been: Never had/held a First Direct product which has now also extended to further restrictions of can't offer a switch offer to people who have opened an HSBC current account on or after 1 January 2018.- That's the way the cookie crumbles

@OwnedByACat
For the Barclays Smart Investor offer the max amount you can receive is now £2.5k for transferring £200k+ (up from £2k for transferring £200k+). Other details appear to be the same.
In addition Hargreaves Lansdown now have an offer on their Active Savings Accounts.

Is the Hargreaves Landsdown offer good enough?0

Hard to quantify what you mean by "good enough". It's not particularly generous.OwnedByACat said:Is the Hargreaves Landsdown offer good enough?
Moneybox emailed me today with their cashback deal, £5k into their "investing account" until end-July would get you £50 vs a tenner at HL.

That's not really a fair comparison. The HL offer is for Active Savingsflaneurs_lobster said:
