I opened XTB ac Saturday pm, but couldn't get DC payment to process.

Emailed them this morning (Monday) to say they need to check their DC payment process on my ac & find why my DC payments are being 'denied' … and ensure that my (alternative slower option) bank transfer, initiated after DC failures on Saturday, is credited.

an hour later the transfer was processed, and I immediately received the nVidia share valued at c.£165.00, lunchtime today.

Thanks to OP for the heads up

ETA Bank detail submitted for verification yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, took until 11.15 am today to verify.

Missed out on my XTB free share as they took so long verifying my address (even though I've been here 20+ years and my address was on my driving licence used for ID verification) so my account wasn't active until mid way through Sunday. Have withdrawn my deposit and closed the account in a fit of pique, which they probably don't care about but made me feel better anyway 😅

XTB - Also had my withdrawal bank account approved this morning. Will probably leave things in there until the end of the month.

    XTB

I was going to play nicely and invest my £200 in a gilt or a QMMF. But I find their user interface nigh on impossible. In the app, I can't find a complete list of the products on offer at all, and online it's compressed into a tiny, near incomprehensible space. Am I missing something? Has anyone else invested, if so, in what? I am not keen on buying shares, and I am concerned they'd rope me into a CFD because the site it so difficult to understand and navigate.

I also find their websites confusing. Not sure why they need that "Client Office" separate from the portfolio and trading.

My bank account has also been verified now, so I think I'll give it a week or two and then withdraw the lot. NVIDIA will hopefully not drop much further in the meantime.

In the app, click on 'discover' and then the magnifying glass (top right) you'll be able to find lists of all the shares and ETFs on offer. It offers some ETFs that are close to cash e.g., Pimco's QUID.L, Xtracker Sonia GBP overnight rate swap XSTR.L and short dated bonds e.g., iShares' GBP Ultrashort Bond ERNS.L. Then again it pays 4% on cash.

Hi checked this again and it says customer accounts up to 200k pay 0.25% monthly so anyone else transferred to barc smart isa ? Do we get out once the cashback is paid ?

I went for the Pimco one, simply started typing the name and it appeared. I'm going to let it run for a while to see what happens.

Nvidia have results due out on Wednesday and I'm likely to stick some money in the cash ISA.

I notice that TCB have upped cashback on the Santander Edge Explorer account to £51, and it can be combined with their £180 switch offer.

Not in the switching game myself right now, but £51 is decent just for opening an account that can be fee free if you play it right…
