Just an adjunct to this:
I decided for a few good reasons to go with Freetrade's transfer incentive.. But it transpired that like HL, a SIPP in drawdown isn't eligible for the 1% cash back.
I think both are open to criticism as neither of their terms state S-i-D is ineligible. Only found out as I was starting with HL, required a call and the CS girl was clued in enough know & to double check.
Like a few others, I'm black listed at eToro* so, by elimination for the 1% SIPP transfer incentive, it's iG.
I'll report back on transfer progress, if anyone is interested.

XTB Free Share
Thanks for the tip.
Account opened, £1 deposited, Intel share credited and sold immediately and proceeds (c.£35) in bank few hours after withdrawal request.
As others have reported, there is a delay (queue their end) in getting bank statements verified but call them and they will put you at top of queue and sort it out in minutes

They have some pretty bad reviews on Tuestpilot 😬

Yeah… and that's where I gave up. For a tiny incentive like this I was just about prepared to go through the driving license scan and face wobble, but I really can't be a@sed with that level of ID nonsense.
Account deleted, on to the next one…

I have had the iFast Global Bank account for the best part of a year. Whilst it is a current account, I have been using it pretty much as though it were a pre-paid debit card, taking advantage of their cashback offers as and when they have arisen. In that time there have been a couple of minor issues, as mentioned in the dedicated
thread. On those occasions I have found their customer services team to be responsive and helpful, and the problems have been resolved promptly.
So far as this current promotion is concerned; I happen to receive a very small annuity in monthly payments from one particular provider. Since the offer applies to any direct credit vis BACS (not just salary) I have registered for the offer. I telephoned that provider today to ask them to send future payments to iFast. The agent was flummoxed initially because he couldn't get the change authorised on his system. Following a discussion with his back office, it turned out to be because they had never dealt with iFast before and didn't have their details set up. I was assured the necessary tweaks were made so that the change of payee could be effected. Am hoping this will qualify for the incentive. Time will tell.

Thanks for your response. I will have a small direct credit paid in, just in case.
