And there was I hoping someone would say to feed them comfrey at the full moon or walk round them barefoot casting pieces of aspirin or something... obviously it's just Not The Year For Leeks. I will take heart and try again.

My leeks were doing really well until leek miner got them. But imagine yours will pick up nicely now the days are getting longer and you’ll have a nice spring crop.

Went into the loft with Mr🐞 and was horrified at how much stuff is actually up there. Brought down another 2 boxes, started listing stuff onto V, the bay and Fboo. Sold 2 items. A big ornament that I inherited( not my taste) £35 and  2 toys for £1. 1 doll gone in the bin as her material body was very grubby and electric mechanism had rusted. Did have Toy Story vibes and almost kept her. Donated 2 bubble bath sets to my aunty, who will use them as raffle prizes for her McMillan coffee morning later in the year. Several items need cleaning up or a spin in the washing machine. Need to listen to a couple of the story CDs before I list them. Couple of items will go to the youngest’s chazzer. 

Marmalade making is underway. Need to buy more sugar as I’ve not got enough. 

Mr🐞 has fixed the kitchen cupboard and I took down the Cooker hood cover to clean. Been able to discover make and model so can order new filters, plus a new bulb.

Oh I hope so! I'm not (yet) much good at growing things out of doors... 

Well done on tackling the loft @ladybird1106! Ours is too full but now I have a few things listed on V1nted, I might have some hope of letting go of some of it.

So the last couple of days has been spent seeing some friends. Monday saw my bestie, we had a walk as we put the world to rights. We have arranged to go and see my eldest in march. My kids call her auntie even though she’s not.
Another 2 parcels out the door that day, 1 yesterday and another today. In the process of cleaning up a couple of items that are too large for V, so will probably list them on fbuck. Couple of items (6) being dropped off today at the youngest chazzer.

Yesterday met up with 🍭boss who talked at me for 20 minutes in the pouring rain. I wish she would slow down. Whilst there reality sunk in that I’m not actually going to be part of a team as such. I won’t see anyone for weeks on end. This has made me realise that actually I like been part of a team and working with other's ,this needs to be priority for the future work. Although I’m not looking forward to it , needs must at the moment. Mr🐞payslips arrived and my rough calculation of how much of a pay cut he’s taken is almost spot on. My wages will just about cover it.
Visited a friend yesterday to witness them signing their POA forms. They are very upset at present as their job that they has done temporary for 3 and half years is been internally advertised. Has a week to show expression of interest and interview next week. This person had had a really bad 6 months and then this.
Right time to focus on now.

I know you won't be part of a team as a Lolly-pop lady but you will get to know your 'customers' really well so hopefully that will offset the lack of 'team' directly around you.

The advertising an internal role that your friend has covered on a temp basis for 3.5 years sounds pretty brutal! If they decide to go for it and get it, I hope it's worth it …
