I agree with beanie - slippers are an absolute must.  And to be pounced on.  I've just recently had the fandango of trying to get slippers for LG - almost impossible to find 'slippers' for kids that aren't mock 'huge feet' (guaranteed to trip you up on the stairs), or made from slippy materials, or some version of a clog, which slip off as easily as they slip on 🙄

I have funny feet and recently got what I thought was the perfect pair with a strap. Unfortunately the soles were so slippy they ended up in the recycling. Bah. I hate wasting money.

Was very excited this morning as we were having the new hoist fitted. Unfortunately the mother company has ordered the wrong part and the underlings couldn’t fit it. So unsure as to what the youngest is going to do about college now. Very disappointed as it could take up to 6 weeks to rectify.
That sounds like a right royal pain in the bahookie @ladybird1106, forgive my ignorance was the hoist a mobile one or something else.....?

It’s a hoist that is fitted in the car, so we can transport the youngest’s wheelchair teapot2.

What a shame theres to be such a long wait now and your youngest will miss out on college for that time presumably 😔

I love that way of tackling things 🐞 15 minutes here or there. I sometimes set a timer to motivate myself too, or put a record on that I know lasts a set amount of time.

I've recently bought some fluffy cr0cs for at home and wear those instead of slippers, they're so cozy! Non slip too, I have a bit of a fear of slippers as the last pair I had I slipped over with 🙈🙄 so these work well as an alternative.

@ladybird1106 the hoist company is totally out of order.  I know you have an awful lot on, but compensation is on the cards in my view.  Have they suggested it, perchance?! I think your MP could help.   Love Humdinger xx
