I have my ent appointment next month as I went in for a hearing test and was sent there and have had to wait months and months for it. Hope they do the test there and then and I don't have to go back again otherwise it might be 2030 before I get told whether I need a hearing aid or not 😂🙈Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

They are phonak hearing aids cherryfudge. I’ve been playing around with the app that comes with them. Trying to find the right balance. I finding I need to wear both but not at the same volume. If I have the left one up too much it makes a constant sound ( wind tunnel) but if I have it too low I can hear tinnitus in both ears. Struggled to sleep last night as after having minimal noise yesterday once I went to bed obviously it seemed loud. I suppose I will get used to it as time goes on.Feeling very tired and emotional today. Not sure if I’m coming down with something or it’s just peri.Oh well best get on with the day

The youngest is ill yet again, started with a sore throat. So I’ve drove out to her friend’s house to drop off the presents that finally arrived today. Their new electric wheelchair is been delivered today instead of tomorrow, so they will have to get up. Cancelled them going for tea at in-laws and let my half sibling know as they are planning to swing by to drop off presents. They did tell me it’s better I’m ill now than when we go on holiday mum. Any other time I would appreciate their logic but……
On mse news in the 🐞 household I have sent the last item I sold off the bay. Person who asked for a refund has still not sent item back. On the bay I have one item that the balance should be paid tomorrow. On V I have one still in transit and the balance of another will be paid Christmas. So I’ve put my V account in holiday mode . The bay all items on it have sold.It looks like 2 Christmas presents won’t arrive in time for the big day. Both for the eldest, one is a walking book and the other is a Christmas T-shirt that I got them to do Christmas parkrun in🤣. Oh well .

Youngest made a miraculous recovery when their new chair arrived. Not drank enough water. I’d said this morning she’s not drinking enough but apparently I was wrong she was ill🤨. Honestly I give up🤣. So the kids are at in laws having tea as planned, whilst Mr🐞and I are tidying up again.Managed to find the marzipan and the ready rolled icing. I prefer royal icing but I’ve never successfully made it. My nan was a cake maker and she made the best royal icing. Just the right hardness. Anyway hopefully get the Christmas cake decorated today, no fancy design.Right Mr🐞 has brought in the shreddless marmalade

It's all go in your house, isn't it? I hope the gifts for eldest don't take much longer - in a way it's nice to have something else to open after the big day.
Do you need to keep them in overnight? Obviously if you need to sleep with one ear open, it would be advisable but if you don't then why not take them off and open the battery chambers? That way, the batteries last a lot longer. Or do they charge on mains?ladybird1106 said:Struggled to sleep last night as after having minimal noise yesterday once I went to bed obviously it seemed loud.
