I’m a bit annoyed my friend sent me a Cadbury scam post and because she sent it me I passed it on via WhatsApp. When I realised it was a scam I deleted off the various chats I have🤬https://www.which.co.uk/news/article/scammers-are-peddling-a-fake-cadbury-christmas-giveaway-on-whatsapp-a6PTO7I1S7tl

I saw that scam last year I think it was and it was a clued up friend who sent it so I assumed it was ok and like you passed it on. Easily done!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Thanks for mentioning it 🐞 - I hadn't heard of this scam, but it's the sort of thing that, with a brand name associated (falsely), DH might be tempted if he received a message - so forewarned is forearmed.

Glad it helped GP.
So, the youngest is still complaining of earache. We have enough antibiotics to last till tomorrow, so I’ll be at the drs for 8am. Had to go and get more pain killers/yoghurts.
Sold the Lego set within 5 minutes. They tried to barter and then got a message of I have a limited budget, me too was my response.Meant to call at Bouys to get some pink felt for an art project. Need to look and see if I’ve got an alternative.Love 🐞

Called at orange diy shop to look at paint for room of tranquility. Picked up some wallpaper samples and finished off my mini art project.
Listed a few more items, although I’m not running out of items to sell I am running out of steam. Tried to sell a bracelet at a local pawnshop and they would only pay for the weight of the metal and they advised me to sell it privately. Tried to sell our old game console but apparently it’s got parental control lock on. Stood in the shop like an idiot trying to work out the code🧐. Had to bringing it home. The funny thing is we didn’t set it up originally, our eldest did when they were about 9 years old🤣. Anyway they home at the weekend, so will try to get them to sort it.We’ve had some news on Mr🐞 current job and because he’s voted with his feet and the review of the consultation the other person’s job has been saved and they won’t have to take a pay cut. A bittersweet moment but we are focusing on we made the right decision for us. Lots of office politics and other things we’ve found out has left us a little disappointed in people’s attitudes. The main thing is he’s looking forward to leaving and not having to do some of the really crappy tasks as part of his current position.
Right best cook tea as it won’t make its self.Love 🐞

Drs confirmed ear is still really inflamed, so prescribed an antibiotic spray for the youngest 🤞 . Had my flu jab and Mr🐞 had his at a walk in clinic yesterday. I would really like the youngest to have it out they have a needle phobia.Managed to get my besties Christmas present yesterday from a little independent shop in town. Arranged to meet up next week to exchange gifts and gossip. All my shopping is now done. Which means I can get back to decluttering the home and if we get a couple of dry days together get to the plots.Listings for 3 items on the bay finishes today, only 1 low bid but they will be leaving the house. The eldest arrives tonight and the plan is for them to go through some of their things. I will venture into the loft later to get a few things down.Today’s plan is hospital appointment this morning, pick up olio requests, treasure hunting in the loft and if it stays dry having a fire in the garden.Love 🐞

Consultant is referring me for an urgent MRI a week today. They think it’s pulsating tinnitus but they just want to check it’s not something else. Parked on the near by estate so I wasn’t circling like a shark looking for a car parking space. Managed to pick up some gluten free liquorice which I can’t get anywhere else in town. A nice addition to my stocking if I can resist eating it🤭

It's good they want to rule out 'something else' even if they are fairly sure they know what's going on. Does the MRI mean you will be able to shop for more g/f liquorice if you accidentally eat this lot?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
