Been a busy couple of days as started getting ready for Christmas. Lots of nice food shopping from a couple of sm that I don’t usually frequent, all stuff that can either be shoved in a cupboard or freezer. Not bought any goodies yet as they won’t last till Christmas 🤣.Had a email from local council asking for 6 months of bank statements for the youngest financial assessment for services. Royal pain as they have 4 bank accounts, think it can wait till the new year for now.Listed another 7 items on a combo of V and the bay. Made 4 sales today, not made a lot to be honest, but it’s out the house. Will add it to the fun pot when it lands in my account. The youngest is supposed to be seeing the boyfriend today but might need to cancel as they have woken up with excruciating earache in their words in the ear they had syringed on Thursday. Hopefully it’s not an ear infection😭.Love 🐞Declutter 984/2026

It’s an ear infection again, more drugs. Boyfriend still came and they sat and laughed along to home alone 1 and 2. The youngest did almost fall asleep. Dropped him off at home as his parents were out.Spent most of the afternoon uploading pictures to V and the bay. Sold another item and got together enough books together to make the minimum for Z .Also spent some time shredding lots of confidential papers etc. Will use as brown material up at the plot. We just have half a bag of receipts left that we can use to get the fire going at the weekend.Absolutely shattered today, hope I’m not coming down with something.

Very disturbed night as the youngest in quite a bit of pain and needed drugs. Hopefully antibiotics will kick in today.Hopefully today we will get quite a few jobs that need doing done and have been on the list awhile. More shredding later today as well. Don’t think we’ll be visiting the plot as we have rain again. I did go and check this week to see if the re-felted roof was doing its job, which it is.Right best get a wriggle on

Sorry that youngest is poorly 😢 I hope the antibiotics will kick in soon and you're feeling better today 🤞
There's something very satisfying about shredding stuff - we use all of ours in our compost too 😁

Youngest still feeling rough and spent the majority of the day in bed. 🤞they are well enough to go to college tomorrow.
Mr 🐞 has finally got the suspended shelf up (only taken 7months). Took most of the day as it’s at least 7 ft long and quite heavy. It required multiple checks and rechecks to make sure the chains will hold and are in the right place. Just need some more plants. I tidied the room of tranquility, other than needing a lick of paint and new curtains it’s done in there. Looks so much better. Cleaned the windows and frames🤢. Unfortunately a lot the sealant has mould and will need replacing at some point. Tided our room, which is looking better but does still another decluttering sweep at some point. Cleaned the windows and frames 🤢, same issue, same solution. Mr🐞 and I are happy with what we’ve got done so far.Sold another item on V , it’s boxed but will take tomorrow as the weather was awful and I’d already got drenched once.Time for sleep

I hope they feel better soon.
So much going the rounds that at least it decreases their chances of catching something else, but not nice for either of you.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

The youngest ear infection is still causing them pain. They’ve got medication till tomorrow night. I did look at their ear last night and the opening to their ear canal is visibly swollen still. 🤞I won’t be back at the drs Thursday. I’ve had to cancel a meeting to discuss how to support the youngest with budgeting 😤. I’m trying to stop feeling guilty that I will be going to work in the new year and won’t be around for a couple of hours a day to support the youngest when stuff like this happens.Sold 2 items. 1 item not sold so took it off the bay and will put it on V for a couple of weeks. Need to drop an item off this morning. Need to get in the loft and list some more items. Think I’ll put the Lego sets and the rocking horse on next.Did the big sm shop yesterday and only had to put £24 to it, so will only need to buy fresh stuff near to Christmas.More shredding done yesterday and more to do today, but I did manage to get rid of one file.Took a couple of items to the chazzer yesterday and I’m on the hunt for a new to me pair of curtains for the room of tranquility. Mr 🐞 managed to fix the drawer in the large cupboard and I got a picture up in the eldests room. Hopefully get a couple more pictures up in the room of tranquility and the dining room tonight. I need to look into creating a couple of pieces for the front room. Think I will look on Pinterest for inspiration. .Time to get miss giddychops out for a plod.Love 🐞Declutter 984/2026
