brewerdave said:Has anyone else noticed that the Bright app appears to still be on British Summer Time ??Yes, Bright support told me it's a bug. You need to enter 0 into the field where it says set timezone. Just touch the area to bring up a keyboard if necessary.I still have a gap in my data though :'(They also said there's going to be an update to the app, but I haven't seen any sign of it yet.2

The timezone is correct in my Bright app settings without me doing anything (Android). I did get an update from the Play Store 2 or 3 days ago0

Big chunk of data missing from yesterday, 14.00 to 22.00, for both G & E.1

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems?0

No problems for me, all data correct and present up to end of day yesterday1

Since there seems to be some experienced meter data tool/app access users here in this thread.
A question came up in another thread regarding meter memory specifically for export data.
With versions of original govt specs only specifying 3m for export but 13m for import data cache / storage.
I was confused by talk of Bright app accessing both live meter data via dcc tools and some historic supplier populated database for longer term data.
I was wondering if anyone with export readings and knowledge of tools - so that can somehow configure one (if even possible) or have a tool that only ever looks at meter data and not cached supplier database style info - could do an experiment and check meters actual cache for export data somewhere in the 3m to 13m govt cache spec mismatch period ?0 -
I have two observations that don't exactly answer this question but might helpMy Glowmarkt import data download (which uses the same data source as the Bright app) used to go back to the day my smart meter was installed in August 2023. So Bright must maintain a database of my old readings. Then my comms hub failed and when it was replaced, the installation date for my smart meter was reset to the date of the replacement, although it was the same meter. Now Bright can only go back to 13 months before that date so my older data was lost, even though they must have been storing it before.
Although I moved to metered export last April, my supplier only enabled my export to be read remotely in December. I can now see my export readings in the Bright app from December onwards but if there is older stored data on my meter, Bright have not read it.

I'm curious about the software you use to download the data. Is it published anywhere?Reed_Richards said:My Glowmarkt import data download (which uses the same data source as the Bright app)0
