I just downloaded the Ivie app (it says it's a Chameleon product, so I have some reason for trust) and I got as far as trying to photograph my electricity bill in the app and it has completely frozen my iPad! 😪 Not a happy bunny!

OK, I hit the power down button, then aborted the power-down, and the app sprang back to life and the second time it allowed me to take a picture and now it says I'm registered and it's waiting for meter data. So maybe it's working?

Their website on the other hand, I started down the "buy an Ivie" track … first it failed to recognize my address (we've only been here ten years!) so I gave it my MPAN instead and it says

"Great! Your electric smart meter is compatible with the ivie Bud.

"You can now continue with your ivie Bud purchase."

But there's no way to actually continue that I can see!! :(

    Not very impressed so far.

Glow/Bright seem to send advisorys with out-of-order dates on them. It's not clear to me which ones summarise ongoing things.

Interesting, all the data is there in my Bright display, but my Octopus dashboard still shows no live data after 24 Feb and has a big gap from 20 Jan to 2 Feb.

I see they still haven't fixed the BST bug. It's now showing my daytime rate as the active tariff price between 7:30 and 8:30am. Setting the timezone to UTC+0 doesn't fit it either.

I ended up manually inputting my tariff with the times correct according to my device (ie changing with the timezone change) starting from (this year) 29 March. I did the same over winter. There's obviously a slight discrepancy for usage between 0100 and 0200 but it was the best I could do.

Every so often I need to delete the tariff that they get from the DCC (which shows that I only pay peak rate between 1630/1730 and 2030/2130 - if only!) to keep it using my manual tariff.
