I moaned at Fuse for not sending the data to the app and they said the DCC was offline for maintenance. It just caught up after more than 24 hours but now it's lagging again.

It's incredibly annoying that the DCC has the contract to manage all the nation's smart meter data network and screws it up regularly…
Smart meters were sold on the promise of data and control. The DCC is big on 'selling data' commercially while not supplying it on time to its rightful owners. Us!

Fuse reckon they are building their own network for real time app monitoring. We'll see.

There is more DCC planned maintenance scheduled for 22/23 October.

Ok the DCC is offline for maintenance so I forgive Fuse for its current non-functioning app but it has been non-functioning/ lagging by 15 or more hours repeatedly these last few weeks/months.

After threatening to nuke the bot (my human responders close the case if you don't reply almost immediately so when you reply up pops the bot… again! 🤦🏻‍♀️) after 4 (very nice) customer service agents, 3 bots, and a 'senior', I was told there's backlogs of data from the DCC awaiting verification.

Dunno what that means, did suggest they treated themselves to more servers, was told not a server issue, and they're 'working on it'.

It is driving me mad. Just as we go into the heating season. I have asked for an eta for the 'fix' but all is very vague.

I think my irritation is multiplied by a visit to Sweden earlier on this year where everything was super efficient and accessible. My Air BnB host showed me she can see her energy data in various formats live including comparatively with previous months/weeks/days and she can print off little graphs or spreadsheets from it.

Just to add that apart from the "return of the bot scenarios" I find that Fuse online customer service is very good for the day-to-day stuff. But as the app was one big reason why I signed up with Fuse in the first place I'm losing the will… 😩
