Thanks, hopefully won't be needed, I did my trade before the 13th but a friend of mine and no doubt many others only managed to do it after this date.

I bought £5 worth of Lloyds. I will keep them till the promotion will be paid. £195 will remain on the account.

IG Smart Portfolios require a minimum balance of £500 before we can put your money to work. If your current deposit is below that level, your portfolio will remain uninvested until the minimum is met.

Don't choose the 'smart ISA', go for the normal one.
