Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have?

I used to worry that I had too many savings accounts and that my son would curse me once I had departed this world and he had to sort it all out. I think I will leave a link to this thread in my death file and he will be able to see that at least in terms of regular savers  I am not even in the premier league.

Wow whats your minimum to fund? closed nearly all below 5% myself

Essentially it's always the same as the best available EA. Even though I have that I hedge my bets by spreading funds around as institutions all respond differently to BoE rate changes. I  have a few under that with minimum funding as enablers to other accounts and competitions.

Thanks Bobblehat for all your hard work. I like the new league table and missed being involved.

Can you please add me in with the following data. I have 24 and my wife has 22. Funding is £13,900 per month, total funds currently £60,600. I have cashed in all those lower than 5.50% and moved those funds back into our flexible ISA's.

Hi luci ... if you mean the "league table of how many RS's do you have" ... as in the title of this thread (started by topyam), then I publish it here within this thread every week or so. If you look back a page or two you should find the latest updated table.

I have a feeling that you were referring to my League table, but you might find the Moneyfacts link and Bridlington1's thread link interesting too.

A couple of suggestions though. In order to make your list easier to find you could launch a new thread, a How many regular savers do you have thread with your list on the opening post which can be continuously updated. You could also make that thread a no chat thread for updates to your list only, with any regular savers discussion going into the main regular savers discussion thread.

Alternatively you could also make a post in the main regular savers discussion thread and the main regular savers discussion thread could take on the role of this thread, as I'd consider how many regular savers people have to be within the scope of that thread.

In both cases a link to your list could be included on p1 of the main regular savers discussion thread.

Both might just make it easier for people to find your list without having to scroll through several pages to find the most recent version.

That's what I was looking for. I thought the list would be in the opening post of a thread and felt bad having to ask within this thread when I should have been able to find it myself.

I'm not sure I would go as far as to say this is its ancestral home to be honest given that people have been discussing how many regular savers they have on and off on the current and previous versions of the top regular savers discussion thread for a number of years. I would therefore consider this thread to be more of a spin-off thread if I was being generous.

On the point about working together I would also add for the record that I have offered to collaborate with @Bobblehat over a weak ago to find a solution with the hope that there could be at least a degree of co-operation between his work and mine for the benefit of all concerned but received no reply.

Postings from contributors with updated figures that happen after the table has been updated will appear in the next update. Watch out for a thanks from me on your post and you will know that I have seen it and amended the table as appropriate for the next update.

There have been a lot of messages from contributors who like this thread just as it is, including topyam and myself. We have agreed to take the "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" approach and kept the change as simple as possible, while hopefully making the table easier to find. No need to complicate things with a 3rd thread or merging with other thread(s). This is still the place for general stories about your RS acquisitions, anecdotes about RS's ... anything fun or a bit "leftfield" about RS's. Bridlington1's thread is still the best place to reach a maximum audience for specific aspects of individual RS's or specific operational issues of RS's in general.
