I’ve also been ‘away’ from actively contributing to this (usually) very fine Savings and Investments section of the MSE Forum for quite some time and it’s really good to be back! I fully agree with everything @Wheres_My_Cashback has so succinctly said in their first paragraph above and I don’t think I need to add anything further to that!Wheres_My_Cashback said:Been MIA for a while and notice we have a new RS thread of sorts with a league table. How many RS posters have has only ever been vaguely mentioned in passing before so it's good to have a dedicated thread, but a shame that one or two have got unjustifiably upset about where it is and how many others have.
If I can be added to the list I currently deposit maximum subscriptions to 65 ranging from 4.75% to 8.00%. My partner has about 25ish? but I won't include those as she looks after them herself. Obviously my total fluctuates monthly. I may update with the other totals later on.
If I may also be added to the list please, I currently have 22 active regular savers ranging from a minimum interest rate of 4.85% (AER) to a maximum of 7.50%. The absolute minimum interest rates that I’m willing to accept for any regular savers I open in the near future are 4.75% fixed and 5.25% variable, given that even regular saver interest rates are likely to decrease over the next few months, although hopefully not by as much as the rates for other types of savings account.
Thank you very much @Bobblehat and @topyam for creating and maintaining this (mostly) much appreciated new regular saver thread. I wish it every success both now and in the future!4 -

Ooh, interesting idea. After a little spreadsheet tinkering as I had only listed them all individually:Wheres_My_Cashback said:Just been updating my spreadsheets and as a stat lover was curious to see my top six RS providers....which are, in order of total funds held.

4. NatWest
5. Principality BS
6. Cambridge BS (also about to mature)2 -

1. Monmouthshire (high deposit limit means they're probably near the top of most people's list!)
2. Natwest
3. TSB (matures soon)
4. Nationwide (matures soon)
5. First Direct
6. Principality
Mostly I've got one account per provider, with the exception of Monmouthshire, Skipton and Principality, so the top end of the list is occupied by the accounts I've had for longer.2 -
Similar here, I only have multiple accounts with Monmouthshire (though the 6% is an overflow as it matures in the same month as the 7%), Principality and Melton. After the maturities the spots will be taken by Dudley (July opening, not maxed out) and Progressive (October opening, maxed out.)clairec666 said:

How does this new game work? Number one Bank/BS with the highest current accumulative holding or highest accumulative monthly deposit ..... or something else? Whichever way, I like it

Come next July, Monmouthshire will have a massive lead.... then will drop like a stone! (Unless they offer a great replacement, of course)Bobblehat said:How does this new game work?
