Well, I've just calculated my weighted average: 6.07% for 58 regular savers for the end of January. I think there's a couple I'm going to move to my easy access sheet for February and remove from my regular saver sheet, as they're open literally to keep membership and active online presence with certain societies, which just have minimum balances

I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

I'm an amateur compared to some of you people.

    18 regular savers

    5.95% average interest rate

4.71% is the lowest interest rate I would go for as it would be better value to top up my cash ISA.

Correction to my posting on the 1st Feb in bold
My situation since my last posting is as follows. Down to 18 accounts. Closed West Brom, emptied NatWest and RBS and effectively closed Progressive as it now just has £1 in it. I am aiming to reduce my RSs at least this financial year but couldn't let Furness go so added that.
    February activity. One principality maturing.
February funding to be £5410 with the total balance on the 1st of the month being approx. £37,400
Minimum rate needed for any new account is 5.75%.
I have also looked at my weighted average for these and it is just under 6.7% (thanks Monmouthshire). If I include all my other savings it drops to 5.1%. This includes Cash ISAs and NS&I Savings Certificates which being tax free are worth more in real terms as a standard rate taxpayer.
