Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have?

Looking at min % to open a new RS in the table is interesting. A lot are still saying above 5%, which considering the BoE rate is 3.75% and next meeting is next month is quite surprising. I suppose it depends on how often you are opening new RS, if you've a lot and need to open several most months then I guess there's only so many high interest RS open.2

I’m down to 5% fixed or 6.5% variable, purely because I don’t *need* more at the moment (bar one next week to mature in time for RS funding in February 2027.) Suffolk will cover March 2027 so I don’t then need to open anything until the end of March.PixelPound said:Looking at min % to open a new RS in the table is interesting. I’ll take anything suitable that comes along though, as I’d sooner not fund Scottish on principle after they dropped by twice the base rate cut. The next meeting should be a hold, the last one passed a cut by the narrowest possible margin.
It’s possible that not everyone updates every month, so some thresholds will be out of date. Their data will stay until they provide an update/ask for it to be removed.2 -
I think quite a few contributors have a sliding scale of minimum rates, depending on fixed/variable and/or max monthly contribution. One good aspect of the league table is seeing the range of those that declare their rates, and quite a few do update the rate figures monthly

I'm quite happy to update any of the min% figures along the lines of (e.g.) 4.75%F/5.25%V (as per cricidmuslibale), or any other short and sweet entry that will comfortably fit in that column's cells.Compiler of the RS League Table.

Twenty eight at the moment which is about as many as I can realistically put money into.2

That puts you well into the top third of the table snookerloopy96, welcome to the RS league table. Your entry will show after the next update. Feel free to add other figures to your row as you feel comfortable withsnookerloopy96 said:Twenty eight at the moment which is about as many as I can realistically put money into.

I'm down to 23 now, as culled most 4.x% due to low coupon gilts easily effective rate beating them (as higher rate tax payer).
I still have a couple of first home savers though 4.8% that may be up for chop later, but otherwise trying to stick to 5%F/5.25%V1 -
Reading through other posts, I put around £5,000 into regular savers every month, with luck I will be at the stage where the maturing savers all pay for the next ones, certainly getting nearer to that.Bobblehat said:

I don't have a minimum rate cut off point but I do only fully fund around 20 of them, anything around the 5% mark I tend not to as I'm getting that in a 'normal' saver account at the moment so just put £10 or £20 a month into those.

At last, I'm down to ONE regular saver.
It's a wonderful feeling, very similar to emptying a room or garage of unwanted junk. Highly recommended.4 -
Out of curiosity, which is the lucky one that escaped the cull? And will you be keeping it?subjecttocontract said:At last, I'm down to ONE regular saver.

I can imagine. I intend to simplify my accounts some time in the future but at the moment I'm just not quite ready to embark on it.subjecttocontract said:At last, I'm down to ONE regular saver.
