I hope you don’t mind me taking the unprecedented step of keeping you all informed of developments regarding the updates to “The Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have?” thread. Although I’m not the thread OP, you probably know that I have taken a keen interest in the thread by providing the “League Table” updates on a regular basis.
@topyam has taken the decision to step back from maintaining the thread, this is because he's struggling to find the time to update it owing to commitments outside of the forum. In consultation with @Bridlington1 , who has also taken a keen interest in the thread in the past because of potential overlap with the long running and very popular “Top Regular Saver Discussion“ thread, a solution has been agreed to facilitate the continuation of the League Table updates.
As a result, topyam, Bridlington1 and I have agreed the thread should be relaunched and its scope formalised. It will be launched by Bridlington1 in the early hours of Sunday 31st May, with the league table and an introduction to it on page 1. I shall then send Bridlington1 regular table updates, which will be added to p1 of the new thread. Bridlington1 shall explain the full scope of the thread in detail on the Top Regular Savers Discussion thread shortly.
The title of the new thread will be ...
"How many regular savers do you have? - The League Table”.
Topyam's existing thread shall then be closed to prevent people accidentally resurrecting it.
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank topyam and the many forum members to this thread for past contributions, and also Bridlington1 for suggestions to and the implementation of a way forward. I hope the contributors will continue to forward their updates to the League Table in the usual way in the new thread.

Hi Bobbles,
Before we go over, here is my update, I am down to 8 Reg Savers now, as the ones that matured have gone towards putting a chunk into the Nationwide Fixed 15 month account.
With the 8, I am spreading around £2125 Pm between them.. I think when the 7 mature between August and October, I will be down to just having the Manchester 24 month Acc at £500 PM running until October 2027..
Not sure whether I will be tempted to renew some of the 7 when they mature, may do 1 or 2, depends on how the tight the money situation is, as I only have £760 Pm income, and my bills come to £680 PM, It does not leave enough for the weekly pub trips around London, I have to keep dipping into my old savings from inheritance a year ago, It does help that we both have our free travel all over London though, what we save on fares, roughly £5000 Per year each, goes towards a few nice cold pints by the Thames, it also helps that we can walk down to the Greenwich riverside pubs in 25 mins. Over and out until next update.
Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.4 -
Thanks @arthurdick ….as long as it not a few cold pints in the Thames 😀
Thanks also to @CeliaSeas and @Kim_13. Updates should resume regularly with a seamless jump to the new thread. Initially, the May update will go on Page 1 of the new thread, quickly followed in early June by all updates since then. No doubt @Bridlington1 will be very efficient, so not long to see them in the table.
Feel free to send your updates here or to the new thread (when opened), I'll monitor this thread right up to the point it gets closed, and of course, the "old" thread should still be accessible for those that would like to view (only) its historic data.
