To add: please remove my total funding from the table. No longer accurate and I am not intending to update it here every month.
Thank you.

Just had a recount and I’m down to 15 as of last week.

But not published/broadcast/used - so what does it matter? You are 'filmed' everyday by countless CCTV cameras but it never gets used until there is an issue.

It seems like this is catching.
I'll be running mine down as I divert money into replacing that I'll be flexibly withdrawing from my ISA in the new tax year, all being well.
Wish me luck on the AML front! 😱

I'm panicking slightly about AML checks - my current account transactions probably look a little, er, unusual to anyone who's not in the regular saver game. Might take my solicitor a bit of time to untangle it all.
It's been fun chasing the best regular saver rates for the last couple of years, but if I work out how much interest I've gained over the top easy access accounts, I'd sacrifice it all in return for my flat purchase to go through smoothly.

You’re not doing anything suspicious or unusual. Many people do this and you are transferring money to your own accounts, not elsewhere.

I suppose the question is given that the solicitor will have to verify this, will the extra time that they need to be paid for as a result cost more than the interest gained vs an Easy Access account after tax? Because if so, the Regular Savers will have cost the saver money and would be best avoided in the 6 months preceding a purchase (or whatever period of statements are required for AML purposes.)

Yeah, that's what I meant. I know I'm not money-laundering, but the solicitor still has to go through all the relevant checks. Only 21 regular savers to my name but that's probably 20 more than most people have. Plus a handful of current account switches, a couple of ISA transfers, and moving £2000 in an out of Club Lloyds each month to avoid the fee.
I'll happily explain every transaction to my solicitor - they'll probably think I'm nuts, but I don't care as long as they get the job done!
