A bit like the police type programs too, I would assume it's very similar, and you have no choice in the matter. They are given your details and if they decide to use the footage they will contact you to get your permission.

But presumably it wont be used if you don't consent so no one (other than the people filming/producing) will see it.

But to end up on the police type programs, you probably have to do something wrong (unless you were a witness of course.) If you are stopped by the police/asked to present a ticket by revenue protection and tell the truth and politely co-operate (even if that means accepting a penalty notice) you won’t end up on TV as that’s not very interesting.

People here are free to withdraw their consent to the inclusion of their data at any time and to never open the thread again if they don’t like the way it evolves.

I 'only' have 10 regular savers but the interest takes me to not far off my £1000 allowance. These people with many more than 10 must be paying lots of tax on their interest.

I've considered reducing mine and putting more in ISA's
