At 80 I suspect she's only driving locally. I drive, but wouldn't want to drive that far and back on the same day, especially if there's a lot of traffic, dual carriage ways with slip roads on and off, as well as it may be dark.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Non drivers seem oblivious to how unpleasant driving has become, at times.
Congestion, roadworks, other drivers, bad weather, navigating, parking etc etc.
