    hello all,
DD has been ill all over the holidays, she's teething and i had to take her to the drs last friday, she's had an eye and ear infection and a cold, he gave her some antibiotics which cleared that right up but she still has the cold and yesterday she started coughing, it sounds like croup poor wee thing.
really need to clean the kitchen, it's a tip and we're decorating it in a few weeks.
absolutly blitzed upstairs earlier this week and filled the bin and sent loads to the charity shop. decorations came down new years day, naughty me! wm on and bm emptied. shopping done yesterday, so i can stay in the nice warm house, but saying that we got the gas/electric bill yesterday and it was £230!! so may have to curb that, but with a baby it's hard, i don't like her being in a cold house as she can't tell me she's cold iyswim.
hugs to all who need them.
ps skipboy. i make hash by frying an onion then add a kettle full of hot water and a load of spuds along with a couple of carrots, let them cook through till soft. add a large tin of corned beef thats been chopped up, add a couple of oxo cubes and a big dollop of brown sauce. and heat through.
serve with crusty bread and red cabbage or beetroot and more brown sauce. yum yum.

    Welcome Vegaslover and SkipBoy :hello:

I'm really glad you seem to be better Kathy and Marie. :j
Sorry to hear you're not Pam and Tru.
Vicky...Sorry to hear your job has been so bad. Good luck with whatever you decide.
I hope your DH gets good news re the job Pooky ;)
Skipboy...The law in my house says we have to have beans with corned beef hash. :D

I did a marathon ironing session last night and even put it all away. :D :j :T  So I'm feeling quite virtuous. :o Last night's roast chicken has been turned to stock and it's cream of chicken soup tonight. Tommorrow stew is made and I'm organised enough to be able to spend today with the girls. A wee bit of snow here but not alot.

    Take care

    Morning all.

Snow has gone (disappeared by yesterday tea time) but its still very very cold !!
Sorry to say I'm slipping a bit on my de-cluttering:confused: can't seem to get motivated and its a case of 'out of sight out of mind'..............family tree papers that need sorting out into their files are in a drawer so I can't see them............I know they're there and it haunts me a bit cos they're ext on my list and till I've done them I know I won't feel like going further........oh dear................just cast an eye on the overflowing bookcase !!! Daren't touch that without OH being here...............half the books are his !
Oh well, I will get round to it..............just taking time. I was all enthusiastic and the got a bit lethargic. Maybe when the decorations come down tomorrow I'll have a new lease of life about it all.

    No................not 'maybe'.....................I will !!!!!!:j

    Have a great day whatever you're doing:j

You have got to get out of there. Bet you wil only be appreciated once you have gone. Would have suggested some sick leave but if I remember rightly they pester you even then!

Yes you do remember correctly!! They summoned me into meetings and kept demanding to know when I expected to be back last time I was off sick!!

Feeling more positive now I've sent my CV to my friend though
