"i deliberately don't update my v5 or the voters reg to avoid these situations,"

    Nooooo!

That is a REALLY REALLY bad idea and you could get several CCJs from firms who don't bother to do traces.

It is a really - really - silly thing to do. Stop immediately. Update your V5C this week.
    Thanks for your your reply.

Is it possible to sue anyone as with both PCN's i dont have proof of not being there for execesive periods of time. I live alone and have no witnesses or fanancial proof that i was not there. The claims are just ludicrious.

Do you have any threads where someone has sued an organisation.

I would like to sue these people but maybe its too complicated.

Many thanks for your reply and ill do these things over the weekend. I dont have any other debt collectors to address. ;)

    -------------------------------

this is the vile reply i got from HAlfords, they finally have responded tyo my offical complaint made on 6th Aug this year.

I write to you further in relation to your telephone call this afternoon.

Your case has been brought to my attention, and I want to assure you that we take matters like this seriously. I was sorry to learn of your experience and any inconvenience this may have caused.

Following an investigation to your case, it is noted, our Car Park for our Manchester Fort store, is externally managed. And as such Halfords have no authorisation to be able to cancel and remove any parking tickets, for this site.

Our Store Team have done everything possible to try and support with this matter, including personally contacting the parking company in which issued the ticket.

As ultimately, the decision is made by the external party, Halfords have been unable to cancel this ticket. This is due to multiple correspondence being provided to yourself, relating to the fine.

I apologise we have been unable to support any further on this occasion. Should you remain dissatisfied, I would politely remind you of your option to seek independent legal advice.

Might be worth making a subject access request to Halfords to see correspondence relating to this sent by them?

Will show you how much effort they have put in and also whether they actually did direct cancellation but the parking firm refused.  Evidence of that undermines any legitimate interest in continuing to enforce the PCN given the principal's wishes.

Typo  -  "You are the principle (the 'organ grinder' in your ill-advised parking contract). "
Actually it is principal in this case (principal-agent relationship).  I always forget and have to check.

Sorry  -  not sure what your point is. C-m put right (after another tiring all-nighter) after my above pointer.
