I did not use the template defence thread as @Car1980 gave me a quick defence to post, to make it easier for me. I will check out the thread now

Check on MCOL to see if the CNBC have sent it out yet. If not, wait. Check MCOL once a week.

What was your defence?
This was the defence below
All I would do is submit this:1. The Defendant is the keeper of the vehicle in question and the driver on the day alleged.
2. The Claimant asserts the Defendant parked outside Halfords on The Fort retail park, Manchester for TWENTY hours. This is completely false.
3. This is a classic case of "double dipping" where the Claimant's ANPR cameras have recorded the entry time of the car, but not captured its exit.
4. It is submitted that the claim be struck out under CPR 3.4(2) "that the statement of case discloses no reasonable grounds for bringing the claim".
Then you only have the Directions Questionnaire to think about.0 -
Yes that's fine. Double dip case. You could have just used the Template Defence though!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks very much, i was in a desperate situation and his defence meant i could deal with it promptly to give me some breathing space.Coupon-mad said:Yes that's fine. Double dip case. You could have just used the Template Defence though!
It was suggested that i write to my mp regarding the other double dipping pcn invoice, is there a template for that by any chance?0 -
this video on double dipping was 7 years ago, surely the fact there is proof on faulty ANPR systems, you would think it would mean none of their claims would hold water?
They dont use recorded mail so how do they know you received their letters?

hello guys, just an update. I have sent off the n180 by email.
I missed the call from DCBL the other day, they left me a voicemail to call them back but i refuse, when i have phoned them in the past im left waiting for a long long time.
this is what @Car1980 said a while ago.

Just tell the Mediator on the upcoming call that it's what is known as a double dip case - an ANPR error - and they are having a laugh if the Claimant thinks you owe any money. They should never have had your DVLA data at all because it was harvested without reasonable cause.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
