Todays has been rather unproductive. Lots of driving around DD and 1 client this morning.
Ive done a bit of desgning this afternoon and now I need to get the design on the computer and polished up! But my motivation has gone, need to find it quick!!!
  • Got the hang of the programme I was using to get my design up. Will work on it some more.
Got some studio time too which was good.
Had a call with my mum, she's moving and got a buyer just before new year, she's found where she wants to go and the offer was accepted, so it's all systems go. She's been making lists of what still needs to go, furniture wise. She has been pretty ruthless going through her stuff, but there a lot of furniture moving from a big 4 bed to a 2 bed flat that wont fit! !

Morning. Didn't sleep very well last night and so it's a lazy start to the day. As yet DD still hasn't told me when she's going in to college or if she's going in. Theres a friendly match but she's undecided about playing in it.
I'm hoping to get a few househild chores done and then some studio time.

My Xmas account has been getting too much attention so I have reordered the accounts on the app. This way it's hidden and I wont keep seeing it, this it the way forward, hide the accounts you don't want to see so you can't be tempted!

    List to motivate me
    Post office
    Clean work bits
Clean bathrooms and listen to podcast
    Studio time
  • Just taken a look at the accounts and I hadn't realised that Oh has paid the ebay earnings as an overpayment. Hadnt realised as it was about the same as the monthly interest! So that's another £120 we went ever have to pay interest on
    Yey!!

OH gave my the Christmas money for my course and the Xmas money from his mum., finally. But I had to ask!
Not sure why he's like this, he's always reluctant to give it out! And I hate asking for money as it feels like I'm begging!
Anyhow, good new cc payment paid. And it's below 100 now
Bad news I will probably have to spend on it as doggo will need to go to the vet. He has a gland up in his neck. Been there for a while and last couple of days it's got bigger, so it needs to be looked at 😢 going it's going to be something easy to sort!

Wow January was the last time I posted!

Is been abit of a strange year.

My poor doggo was diagnosed with lymphoma in March on the third visit to the vets after they told me twice it was nothing serious. 😭😭 He had treatment, we tried 2 types of chemo, but ultimately the time came at the beginning of July we had to have him PTS 😢😢 heartbroken does not cover it, to have lost my gorgeous boy at 4 it's so sad.

Oh and I are living more and more separate lives, in the same house but hardly together, still trying to working out my exit plan. Youngest has another year at college and then I won't be tied to this location.

My mum sold her house in July and is currently living with us 😳😳😳 something I never ever expected I would have to do, or cope with. It feels like I am being tested. It's not easy for any of us, poor mum is 82 and living out of a suitcase, not ideal at all. But hopefully the flat she is buying will come through soon, 🤔 god I hope so!

DD is hiding in her room, not much change there to be honest, but she will barely speak to my mum, for some odd teenager type behaviour! And OH was coping OK, but is now moaning and getting snipey with my mum. She is very deaf and it is hard work. All it increases pressure on me. Thank goodness for meditation, it's literally keeping me sane!

    All fun and games 😜

DS2 has been poorly, we had to do a dash to up north uni land to pick him up, 8 hour plus round trip! Dr's seen to think it's post viral fatigue, but it's been affecting his breathing, which is why we were so worried. This was also July, July it seems was rather crazy.

DS1 and Gf are buying a house, which is wonderful and amazing, but a bit stressful, they have to vacate where they are in 4 weeks and we are still waiting for it to go through. (started in may) not sure what will happen if it doesn't as they have a cat and I'm very allergic so they can't come here!

So that's the update, except I haven't mentioned finances. 😝😝

I do have CC debt, the costs involved with poorly doggo were mostly paid for by his insurance, but still there was 10% and various other costs and travel to specialist vets every week. So that is way too high OH has not offered any support with this so I am just chipping away a bit at a time. Will update in a bit, otherwise I'm plodding along doing the job I desperately want to give up and still working on 2 other businesses I am hoping to build up. Nothing is happening quickly though, partly I think because I'm feeling stretched in lots of ways so it's been hard to focus.

    I just miss my doggo💔💔

Right, time to meditate and then make list of things to do. The house needs alot of attention.

I failed to mention the other thing in july, building works for the subsidence on the house!

    July was crazy, 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

    any way

    Today,

    it's friyay!

Thank DFW, I was cleaning my sink (thank you!!) and I was thinking over what I had written this morning and whether it was too moany. 🙃But then I thought flip, no wonder Ive been finding it hard, the last 6 weeks have been intense. There has been a lot going on.

Meditation has been a life saver. I am also a great list maker which helps me to be organised. I just need a house list too!!

So im up dressed, wash on, its sunny here. Yesterday it rained, but not really much at all. Threatened most of the day then the sun came out! so washing was on an airer and that airer is now outside 😄😄😄. Mum is taking me and OH out for tea so I just need to sort DS out unless I can persuade her to come! Mum is still in bed. I took her a cuppa at 10am, but I think she's gone back to sleep!!!
I have work to get with for my healing and teaching bits. Woke up to a lovely email from the tutee i'm assessing which was lovely.

so gratitudes, tried to do 10 last night when i turned off my light, i think i managed 2 before falling asleep.😄🤣😁

    1. Its much cooler and sleep is better 🤩
    2. Reading lovely appreciative emails 💗
    3. Freedom in my day to plan it was I wish ~ yey!
    4. bonus one~ had a great mediation. Im using the insight timer app, which is brilliant 😊

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
