Rain dance not needed here. It has been raining since the early hours and I have massive puddles in the field. Winter like puddles. I'm expecting news of flooding locally. Odd weather times we have.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Wow watty, sorry to hear its piddling and likely to flood near you. The ground is like concrete is going to take awhile to recover, π©

So wash 1 fine and it's on the line, I might rain again but I think unlieky, so might as well get a load of washing done. White sock galore, only 1 person in this household wears whits socks and they declared it a crisis yesterday as they had run out πππ
Sheets on ready for eldest and gf.
Next I need to go through uni boys washing needs, because he's not been well it hasn't been done and he knew I'd sort it out πππ
So far I've been round picking bit up I and trying to clear 'wanted' clutter, ie things that just don't seem to get put away unless I do it ππ€
2 jossticks burnt so far and the doors and windows open, still smells of musty sofa, but it's improving, I might actual open the front door for a bit and really get a through draft!
Next small job is the porch. There's a shoe party going on out there that's needs reigning in πππππ

Fri yay!
Been a funny day. Eldest had gone home. I took them to tk max to buys a couple of bits. It's looking like their house purchase is going to take longer than planned and they are having to moving out mid September, so there going to be a few weeks they will be without a home and they can't come here as they have a cat and I'm too allergic. So they were a bit stressed!
Ds2 is still feeling very wiped out and we have been unable to get a gp app, earliest is 8th September, which is crazy. He has been in bed ask day barely getting up save to go to the loo. Hoping he feels slightly better tomorrow π€
Meanwhile still trying to clean the sink and keep the kitchen in slightly better shape. I bathroom has had a thorough clean and ice done 1 wash. So not a completely wasted day, hoping tomorrow will be better.
Gratefulls
- A bar of chocolate my eldest bought for me, very sweet of themπ«π«
- Enough money to put petrol 8n my carβ½π
- A sparkling bathroom

I have just had a look at my CC and I know I'm on the mortgage free board, which has meant I didn't want to pop my debt up on here, but I really, really need to be accountable and tackle it head on.
So big pants on the total this morning is ππ
Β£2199.92 π eek. As mentioned it is a collection of different things but including dentist and poor doggo treatments. I am where I am and I have managed a payment Just now to bring it down to:
Β£2150.00 - - tidied it up a bit! π
Moving foward I'm going to make a payment a day, a PAD and tidy up my pennies on my current account into my buffer, or holding account and then pop a CC payment across each week. The an is to move something across each day to keep me super focused on the debt and get it gone.
Then I will use the same approach to start adding to my pension. Which is basically non existent, it's never gong to be much, but anything is better than nothingπ€ͺπ
The mortgage is ticking away it's just under Β£40000 now, still getting just over Β£100 pound interest each month π hoping that will get under a 100 in a couple of months.
Gratfullsπππ
βββ Rain, so grateful for some rain
π΅ π΅ π΅ I have a plan, to tackle the CC and blast it away with a PAD
πππ Time for a lie in this morning
Now to crack on with my day
Focus, Action, get something done. π

Hi @Sammie_1985 , thank for popping by x
Determined to be rid of the CC ASAP. Went shopping this morning and did buy some socks for DD, but that is what I planned to buy. Nothing else, and no lunchy bits. We came home and had a sarnie!! So that was good!
Still wet here, but not really nice rain, it's windy and blowy! π Never happy are we ππ
And as for the mortgage, it's been a very long time coming! But it is very lovely to see it reducing and the monthly interest reducing too

Super Sunday!
Slept alot better last night, the cooler weather is better for that, for sure!
PAD =Β£3.00
Im putting in an account and then making 1 x payment a week. The account is the same bank as the CC so that mashed it easy and it's out of view from my main account
I think it might be motivating if I can total the payments up, let's see what I've paid this week and tgrn I'll start doing it daily for each month from Sept
