I agree I still worry all the time about ds1 especially if he goes silent for weeks on end because he's busy 🤣 he's 27 now 🤣
I wish my mortgage and the interest were that low. I love reading everyone's updates though it gives me hope mine will one day be that low! 😃Emergency Fund goal - £1000/2000
Mortgage OP goal 2026 - £1200/£4500

Thanks beanie and dfw, I guess we worry because we care and that's not going to stop at any age!!
I have asked Oh about the mortgage fix and it's as I thought, it's next year, in September, so don't need to worry about that for a while!
Got the log burner lit and cooking a roast chicken, just right for a cold Sunday evening

Morning
A beautiful dusting of snow here. Enough to look pretty, but won't cause too many issues on the roads I shouldn't think,! And the sun is shining, so petty!
DD is back to college today, 🤞she goes in, she might not want to play footbal outside mind, it is fffffreeezing for that!!
Its a studio day for me, but I think it might have to be a short one due to the cold! But I have many other things to crack on with like the website! I've got it to a certain point and I'm now a bit stuck. I'm going to make a list of everything thats not write right or missing or needs changing and then try to work through them, rather than last night looking at it and disparingly beyond me!! 🤣
I mean it might still be, but at least later on I will know which bits are beyond me 🤣🤣
I also need to do my tax return I can't believe I've left it this late 😬🙄
In money news we sold a lego set so that needs posting off and should be another £26 off the mortgage 👍👍👍
Right time to crack on.....
Have a good day all

wednesday pm and i've finished work. DS2 is on the train back up to uni land. Hes got a short list of societies/ clubs to try out. Top of the list is caving and I think this is actually a really good fit. I hope he actually takes the first step and contacts them. However, Its revision and exams first!!I need to make a list to ensure this afternoon is productive!I want to work on the website ~ its getting there, but its taking much longer than I thought it wouldI also need to do a food order and clean the kitchenPLus this evening I want to list some things for sale ~ ill aim for 5. I too good at not being specific, and that means nothing gets done!0

Friday, flip this week has gone pretty quick.
I iam going to get my tax return done today, will be happy if that's done and out the way. Plus some cleaning to be fine and some errands.
My standing order is now going across everyday for £2 Into the Xmas pot. I will be so happy if I can keep this going.
I still need to pay my dental bill which is on the credit card. I taken £125 off it. But £555 still remains. 😱 G
Hoping to pay a further £55 off once this week's money is banked and the settled.
And need to fill up the car too.
Right let's get the tax done.......

Yes indeedy beanie!
I'm just having a spot of lunch and defrosting! Watching football this morning was cold!
This afternoon I want too look at my list and work out the priority order. Not sure I'll get much done. Feeling very low energy, at least tea tonight is quick and easy pizza and salad.
Dd had just days she wants to play the match tomorrow, oh joy 🤣🤣0 -
All good hereJust looked at the xmas saver account and its the 13th of Jan so the amount in the account is double as its £2 a day so total is £26 pounds, yey! its going well, I think doing it this way is a winner!! Beacause my earnngs come in dribs and drabs mostly, weekly is a better for me to do it!ALso paid off another £70 off the CC, this was 30 from an event thats now paid for and 40 from work 2 weeks ago thats just landed.CC is now £415, cant wait to get this tooth bill paid off. Maybes I should be putting £2 away a day for dental bills as well!! But where as im not noticing the £2 a day I think I would quickly notice it if it was £4!!Spag bol tonight I fancied something warming. We eat alot of salads in this house well me and OH do, the kids either moan or have something else!! But with all this rain and gloomy skies I wanted something heavier than lettuce!!! i had bought the mince and the rest we already had in so thats a win, will need to get something tomorrow though for the kids as we will have salad and mackrel and onion rings YUM!!!As for businesses I have had my head in website design since the new year and finally website 1 is mostly finished and now live. I am going on a course this weekend to add to my skill set. Next Iam going to get a site for my creative work and see how that goes!! Busy busy!!
