£10 will get you 50GB without a contract on 1p Mobile (uses EE network). They are 30 day rolling and have 14GB/month European roaming.1

SWAMP_MAN said:Yesterday I received a text message from EE Informing me that in 30 days they will transfer my current 30 day rolling contract (£6.88 per month with 10Gb of data) to a new one at £12 per month with 20Gb of data and that if I was happy with this there was nothing I needed to do.
Admittedly there is an an extra 10Gb of data but given that I rarely hit 5Gb then it is of no use.
The contract was taken out several years ago when Plusnet decided to close there mobile phone side of the business and offered customers a preferential deal with EE.
Given that it is an increase just short of 75% I was far from happy.
After contacting them to ask why they were intending to move me on to a more expensive tariff I was told that it was a tariff that they no longer provided, needless to say I told them I was not happy and asked them for evidence in the contract that allowed them to take this course of action; but nothing was forthcoming. They logged it as a complaint and I subsequently received a text message to that effect. Today I received a text message saying that the complaint has been closed.
Have other EE customers had the same experience?
It's in the regulations. It's common with other types of contract such as Sky price rises.
No point wasting time complaining , if you aren't happy I would leave.3 -
or you can pay as little as £3.15/month with talkhome for 5Gb
£5.90 with SPUSU for 10Gb
Both EE network.
etc.

While I'm with spusu and think they are great with my iPhone, its only correct for me to point out if you are an android user, check your phone is compatible. See here:

I use 1p mobile on PAYG but they do packages.
Excellent website easy to check your status, always respond to email, inform you of changes, status via email.
So far very happy with the service.
As said, they use EE.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I had the same notification from EE having moved from Plusnet. If you text info to 85075 this triggers off that you are thinking of leaving. They rang me and offered a 'loyalty' deal of £7 for 7GB. Only 12p more than I was currently paying but with 2GB more. Admittedly it is an annual contract but you can always do the same again when it expires.4
