EE Sim only monthly contract massive price hike

The “sweet spot” with 1p Mobile (uses EE network) is their £10/month, unlimited minutes and 50 GB data. Included is EU, Channel Is and Isle of Man roaming. It’s a 30 day rolling “non contract” plan/bundle that you can change every month if need be.

Unfortunately 1p support is lacking compared to EE, but you pay less than EE for the same coverage and same speed (as far as I can tell from a direct comparison with an EE SIM).

Spusu give better customer support than EE. I would be surprised if you could get better. 
Just need to check your phone is supported.

We're in the same boat. Trying to cancel but the wait is an HOUR. I can't physically sit here for an hour holding a mobile phone. I dont know what to do because there's no other way to contact them. Wish Plusnet hadn't done this.

My switch to Spusu takes place tomorrow after I ordered an eSIM on Friday.

Just request your PAC and move.

You can get a PAC or STAC by text, no need to call them.

I've just moved away from EE to 1P mobile.
Sent for a PAC, a few seconds later it arrived and Retentions called at the same time.
I was offered a 24mth contract, £6/mth with £2.50 rise each April.

thanks PHK and Spud, I have done this. And amazingly had a missed call the next day fromEE who are calling me back today  too late, I'm off.

I'm like that with any service (BB, gas&electric, mobiles), I'll give them one chance to offer a decent deal and if they're taking the mick then I'll simply switch. They always come back after the fact but I'm long gone and not going to try and cancel someone in the cooling off period.
