H thanks yes it is a lease car, so limits my chances to appeal?

Nope, improves it as long as you don't state who was driving!

You will have to lodge the appeal via the complaints email/portal if the appeals page is blocked for you. APCOA need to sort out this issue that we've seen before. Use the usual Edna Basher appeal version for leased vehicles (in post 1 of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST and no, it's not the appeal in blue writing).

  • Just about to appeal a Manchester PCN with the great advice in the thread...

It requires me to put in whether I am appealing as the Keeper (NOT the driver obviously!) - and it also requires adding an email address. Can't see any issues with this, but just double checking if caution is required?!

Nope you want to hear by email when it's cancelled! Put in your normal email.

  • Hi I dropped off my friend on Saturday evening at 5pm on Terminal 1. I only stayed for 3 minutes. After returning home I forgot to pay the parking fee last night. I am expecting a parking fine soon. Does the points 1 and 2 still valid to help me go for an appeal??

Of course. Have you seen how many Manchester Airport threads we get?!

We even created an AIRPORT DROP OFF GROUP THREAD to try to turn off the tap of the same old question every day! Read that resource and it's easy.

  • coupon-mad Thanks for your help.
  • I've appealed a Manchester drop-off zone fine as the registered driver using the wording in the threads about this. Today I've had an e-mail from APCOA acknowledging the receipt of the appeal and asking for more 'Evidence/Information', namely, they want the name and postal address of the driver. I assume that I just ignore this or should I reply with the same appeals response as I have previously entered/
  • Just ignore it

Hope you didn't use those words. Must be 'registered keeper', never use the word 'driver'!
