Manchester airport parking fine

I'm in the same situation so thanks for the text, I've submitted my appeal. Is it helped or hindered by the fact that I actually paid for the parking 48 hours later, just not within the permitted timeline of midnight the next day.
Is it worth anyone mentioning that there are 3 different methods at 2 terminals at MIA - I haven't been to T2 recently but have been to drop off and pickup at T1 and T3, and each one has a different method (pay on exit, pay at machine using a token and pay next day online)
Far be it from me to suggest that this confusion might increase parking charge revenue, but it can't help, and doesn't seem fair.1 -
what you did on the day has no relevance when using this appeal text2

@telly123_ would you mind telling me whether you did this via an online-form or via a simple email? And if so to what address? I missed the 24 hour / midnight by a few hours, but still paid, albeit quoting the next dat as the day I was there :-(0

@ChirpyChicken
sorry for direct message here. My situation is here
I was getting late to drop off my family at Manchester Airport - although am not far from Manchester but hardly travel so was looking for Terminal 2 Short Stay but instead took wrong turn and ended up at Drop Off. I read the board stating upto 5 mins £5 etc but thought as I took wrong turn so just come out of this and reach Short Stay.
In short I didn't realise until I read an article online - I have not received any notice but I will definitely be receiving one. Manchester airport chat service told me they have entry and exit times for my car so I will be receiving a penalty notice.
My question is do I provide all evidence that I was going to Terminal 2 Short Stay or just follow thisI appeal as keeper. I am not obliged to identify the driver and I decline to do so.1. You are unable to transfer liability to the keeper pursuant to Schedule 4 to the the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 ('POFA') because airport drop off zones are not ‘relevant land’ as defined in POFA.2. Even if (which is not the case) the land in question is relevant land your notice does not conform to the requirements set out in POFA paragraphs 9(2)(e) and (f).
Do I just keep it brief and appeal as per their notice when I receive or is there anything I can do in the meamtime.
Thanks0 -
Just follow the latter advice in your post, after the postal notice is received
Do nothing else , sit on your hands and banish your need to act, until the time is right
The circumstances are irrelevant, just follow the same well trodden path that everyone else has done3
