Money Moral Dilemma: My partner eats more than me, so should he pay more of our food shopping costs?

If you're planning on staying together, perhaps you should get your salaries paid into the same joint account for shared expenses (food/mortgage/utilities/holidays/etc) and then set up a monthly standing order for the equal amounts to your separate current accounts to spend on fun stuff (like presents to each other or days out without each other). Maybe you should pay for your nice breakfast out of the joint account because it counts as food.2

Really - Are you serious? Time for your partner to move on! Just buy convenience foods for 1, then there will be no need for your silly post! You’ll both have your own portion. Good luck with the future?1

Poor man! He has my sympathies1

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Foolish not to eat it yourself.0

Yes he could simply acknowledge this and put more money into the shopping budget.0

If you were flatmates this dilemma might have merited an answer, as it is, all I can say is,
for goodness sake, how old are you?
A lot of men eat more than a woman, does he do a manual job? is he a big chap, sporty, etc etc all of which means he probably needs more calories than you do.
You must have had some idea of his appetite before you married him🤔
He is your husband and unless he is really obese, let the poor man eat what he wants.

marriage is not about who gets what more than the other, thats a divorce!

Think of the long term benefits you will reap. He will eat more than you, gain weight, die before you and leave you all the money. 😂 Alternatively he will divorce you as you are clearly mad.5
