£45 in. Just waiting for £30 cashback extras for paying for part of my tui holiday by the end of the month then this account can be used for a switch.1

Good to see everyone got their multiple £5s
No sign yet of an email with my final Vue cinema reward vouchers - and wasn't paid the £5s either.
So am assuming the cinema vouchers will follow next week?0 -

So am assuming the cinema vouchers will follow next week?I got a text off Halifax re both my reward accounts whilst on holiday as, I only have 2 reward accounts, both for cinema tickets one due to expire in December 25 and the other in May 26. Hope this does not mean I will be getting cash instead of cinema tickets as I much prefer the cinema tickets, hence why I chose them. Has anyone else had the same message? No mention in the July letter of cinema tickets getting cash, only the magazines."Dear *** Your Reward Extras offer has now ended as explained in the letter sent in July. By the end of October you will receive a payment into account ending **** called 'Reward payout' for your remaining rewards."

Well I've just decamped to Nationwide. Had a switch before on a sole account so set up a joint account.
£175. 5% interest on first £1500 in current account. 6.5% regular saver.Good for a year.0 -
Nationwide is probably the last institution to offer a decent rate on a current account balance, although limited to £1.5K. The 5% rate has been going for years. Unfortunately I enjoyed the benefit around 2016 (when that 5% even on only £1500, really meant something with savings account rates hovering around 1%). You only get to have it for a year, and can't repeat. Good for you bagging the deal.Organgrinder said:Well I've just decamped to Nationwide. I got the same generic text.
But the MSE guide says we should get the remaining payouts as cinema vouchers valid for 12 months.
The fact I haven't had multiple £5s paid into my Halifax account - but others on here have - suggests that is the case? But there is no guide I can see on the Halifax site - just MSE.

If we don't get either by Friday's end of month deadline we will probably need to contact the Halifax2 -
Downgraded my 3 Reward accounts today to a current account.Less than an hour later I got an email asking if I wanted to upgrade to a Reward account!

Did you get an email "Your current account application was successful"? Including word that 'Your debit card and PIN will be with you shortly '?SpanishBlue said:Downgraded my 3 Reward accounts today to a current account.
I trust this is just a poorly set up system talking about all downgrades as if they were welcoming new customers. I don't want to have to change card details at retailers / subscriptions.
Nor do I relish downgrading the other two, after the first took three goes on the flaky app.
PS I got the 'Upgrade to Rewards' email an hour before downgrading!0 -

Got my remaining seven Vue cinema vouchers by email - not forgetting the half price popcorn.
So I am assuming all the Halifax rewards final payouts are done?
Its been fun while it lasted.
Likely to use my first voucher to watch the Glen Powell remake of the Arnie movie Running man due for release next week.....which is about a deadly competition where contestants must survive thirty days while being hunted down. Sort of seems appropriate for the Halifax rewards process each month!4
