My app (android) still tracking the requirements.

I've paid in £1500 which has tracked instantly, not done the £500 debit card payment though as I thought this isn't required.

As usual halifax and the app are confusing

The £1,500 is last month's. This month's won't have tracked yet.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Its this month 100%, my android app tracks it instantly for some reason. The same happened last month too.

As others have mentioned above I checked the app to see if the requirements were still in the app and they were with none checked off, so I've proceeded to transfer £1500 and now that is marked as done as one of the requirements.

I presume you are using IOS as android works

On a seperate note I've just gone ahead and done the £500 spend on debit card just to cover that off, probably not needed but thought why not

That tracker is wildly inaccurate, I never bother checking it anymore and haven't in months. It won't have been updated to take account of the changes.

If you want to keep your Reward Current Account(s) as Reward Current Account(s), then you need to funnel through the £1,500 for October. The £500 debit card "spend" isn't necessary as the old rewards scheme has now ended and we'll all be receiving our outstanding rewards in October. Well that's what they've said will be happening.

If you plan on downgrading or switching out your Reward Current Account(s) then you don't need to do anything more with them but should keep them as they are until you receive your outstanding rewards later this month. Once you receive these you can (and should to avoid the £3 monthly fee) downgrade or discard them as you wish.

I’ve done the £1500 in and out but before deciding on whether to do the £500 DC payments I’m going to wait and see what gets paid out this month on around the 12th.
  • I've just had a look at the reward progress section for October on the Halifax iOS app.
Has it always said the word Keep? Was it not deposit or pay in previously?

The older-style tracker information screenshot relates to September, by the looks of it.

"Keep £1500 or above in your account"

I’m planning to deposit £1500 & pay Barclaycard £500 by debit card tomorrow as usual. I do it on auto pilot 1st thing on 2nd when my pension is credited. CC balance is due 7th anyway so only a few pence in lost interest.

Same in the Android app, now says 'Keep £1500'

But the Rewards account website clearly says merely 'Pay in £1500'

I notice on mine with 3 Halifax reward accounts that only the first has the check mark for keep £1500 in your account and that is the account which receives £1500 from an external account.  Reward accounts 2 and 3 receive the £1500 from an internal transfer and do not show the check mark.  Same thing happened last month which I believe was when the look and wording of the reward tracker changed.

My online banking tracker still says "You've paid at least £1500 into your account this month".

But then it also only shows one of my three accounts.
