Just paid out the £500 debit card spend for September to Hargreaves Active Savings. Is this the last time I need to do this round robin to get tne big payment in October?

Yes. The October payment will be for September, and will cover the rest of your Reward Extra period.

Any rewards obtained in October would have been paid in November, but the whole thing will be history by then.

    Thank you.

No reason to keep these accounts open after that I guess, as I already have Club Lloyds and the 6.25% and 5.25% regular savers.

Better to use them to get switch offers from elsewhere rather than just close them.

But watch out for the continuing monthly fees - still avoidable, of course.

I understand we will still receive £5 until Sep 30, 2025. In the letter it says we will continue receiving the remaining reward.
I still have six month rewards. Based on my understanding I will receive £30 by the end of October at latest.
    My question
    1. Is the spending of £500 by debit card still needed, for the rest of six months, or  until October 2025 will be sufficient?
    2. The reward is now replaced with fee free for spending in different currency. To receive this perk do we still need to pay £1,500 monthly into the account and spending £500 by Debit card ?
    3. Pay  £1,500 monthly is not that difficult, but spending £500 by Debit card is too much work for such a tiny perk. If this was the case I wonder what is the best course of action down grading the account to everyday account, or just close it  ?

    Thank for help.

Should we wait for the final reward payment or can we just downgrade the account on the 1st October and still get the reward payment?
