I'll cycle the monthly money as per as its no big deal.

Reluctant on the £500 though because it takes forever & a day for it to make it to NS&I and then back to then go back in to a decent savings account.
Revolutbis is instant, should we ever find ourselves with such an account in the future.

Thanks @goatfaced @s71hj. Wish I'd known that sooner & then I wouldn't have had that money floating around for nearly 2 weeks each month but like you say I'll know for future.

And no I don't have Revoult right now.

Just checked my Halifax Reward Current account this morning and 24p interest was credited yesterday. Wasn’t expecting that so soon. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So, am I right in thinking that as of today there's no point in doing the '£500 spend' (e.g. NS&I) with the Halifax accounts
or do we still do it for October?
There is no longer any need to do the monthly spend. Any remaining cashback should be credited in the next couple of weeks.
I was about to put my Halifax debit cards away and stop doing these £500 spends. But I now I see if I do 20 spends on my TSB debit card through their bank I will get £10 a month for three months . More hassle for less returns but may as well!

I assume you have about £5000 in the account, so that would be correct for 1 days interest.

Yes, £5,000 in that account yesterday. I wasn't expecting the interest until the end of the month or early November. Won't complain  ;)

It's because LBG monthly billing periods run from 2nd to the 1st of following month. So interest is paid overnight on 1st.

That's great. Thanks for the explanation. I can set up a recurring deposit in Banktivity now 👍🏻

For several years, I have been holding several Reward accts as well as a credit card. I cannot activate the cashback on any of them
