My appeal was on the 20th July, PCN cancelled 14th August.5

I used the template given on here for the reply to my fine at Manchester Airport drop off. They’ve now sent a letter telling me to either pay the fine as the registered keeper or tell them who was driving!’ How do I reply to this?0

They’ve now sent a letter telling me to either pay the fine as the registered keeper or tell them who was driving!’ How do I reply to this? It's a new (desperate) ploy to try to get the keeper to spill the beans as to who was driving. APCOA cannot get the charge to 'stick' with the registered keeper, as the Law (Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) is totally against them being able to do so.
Just ignore the letter ... and a cancellation will come through to you. Please let us know when this happens, as confirmations strengthen advice reliability for other newcomers to this scam! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hi there, as with everyone asking the same, my husband forgot to pay a Manchester Airport T2 Drop off charge, and we did NOT receive any previous letters, or PCN and then I get a Debt Recovery Plus letter on Sat 16 August demanding £170 to be paid before 20/08/25 because I have ignored prior letters.
I am of course naffed off with forgetting because we have made several drop offs over this past few months taking son/ daughter for holidays and always made the payments!
Before I read all your messages I typed in chat GBT who advised to complain to customer relations at Manchester airport and also dispute the charge with Debt recovery Plus via letter or email.
He used my sons car to pick him up and so therefore the letter and the vehicle is in his name and he is currently looking into buying a house and I wouldn't want any credit / non payment of this to go against him.
I wouldn't want it to escalate.
My brain is in overdrive and panic....
Help, advice and assurance needed please.

Chat gbt is wrong
Ignore Debt recovery plus
They couldn't escalate an escalator! Ignore all their letters. No matter what they say
Anything else you mention is irrelevant2 -
Thanks for replying,
Please may I just ask,
Because we didn't receive an original charge /PCN to appeal, and now we have this debt recovery letter,
All we need to do is ignore and nothing will go against my son as he is gong through a mortgage application.
also do you know how long they send these demanding letters for?
