I have a couple of questions i'm hoping someone can help with. I completed my appeal online using the provided template on the 12th July so 28 days ago and so far have had nothing back, I also didn't get a confirmation email of the appeal at the time (not sure if this is normal?). Is there anyway of checking progress of this online or is it normal for it to take this long, it implied 21 days was the norm when I googled it. also do they always reply via email or is it sometime via the post? thanks in advance, it was Mcr airport T2 just incase that makes any difference.0

I'm now unsure whether I should appeal as the keeper. My concern is that if my employer—who is officially listed as the keeper—receives any response related to the appeal as keeper, it might appear that I’ve provided incorrect information, which could reflect poorly on me. Any experience on this case is appreciated.
Appeal in the name of the employer
On the form the website select the drop down box as keeper
Use the standard airport appeal text that wins
But it must go in the name of the registered keeper not in your name
It will then be cancelled and you will get the reply cancellation just use your own email address.6 -
Hello, I appealed using the exact text suggested in the forum for a PCN notice from APCOA about a drop-off at Manchester Airport. In response I have now received another letter from APCOA stating -
The parking charge was issued to the registered keeper with DVLA. As we do not know the name of the driver or their current address, we invite you 'the Registered Keeper' to either pay the charge OR provide the driver details.
Please provide this information within 14 days. If we do not receive the required information within 14 days, we will process your appeal based on the information that we currently hold.
How best can I respond to this - please help!!!

Nothing. Ignore.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your cancellation will come shortly as long as you ignore the phishing for the drivers letter. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thanks Chirpychicken. Just received my email informing me my parking charge has been cancelled. Excellent advice, you even got the bit where they list all the current parking fees at Manchester.
Hopefully more and more people use this advice and airports stop ripping us all off for just stopping a couple of minutes to get out a couple of suitcases.
Thanks again.6
