I’m getting a student loans refund as I overpaid which I’m very pleased about as I was unwell for three days last week so lose three days pay. They should work out at about the same amount I think, which is a relief.
My sister and my niece are coming over for dinner tonight, I’m really looking forward to seeing them. I’m making a bolognese pasta bake as we all like bolognese, I made the sauce last night.
One more day to the weekend and my trip away. I’m loving the advent of autumn even if it did get cold and rainy with a bit of a bump.
I finally seem to be getting into the swing of budgeting. I have a reasonable amount of spending money for the rest of the month and I’m not splurging too much on ridiculous things. Long may it last!0 bonus saver

Just had an absolutely lovely dinner with my sister and my niece and sitting down before doing the washing up. I found out what I’m getting from Student Loans and it’s double what I thought so should be able to pay a good chunk towards debt.
One more day till the weekend.0 bonus saver

On the train to my mum’s. The weather is absolutely beautiful and we’re off to Cromer today. Hoping for a toasted sandwich lunch and a nice walk along the seafront. Also a peek in the charity shops. Hoping for plenty of sun, at least until Tuesday.0 bonus saver

Went for a lovely swim in the sea yesterday. The water was so warm. Back home today which I’m sad about but going in to my new job to meet everyone so looking forward to that. I’ve quite enjoyed just having a few days off with my mum, in a way I think a week is too long sometimes but four days is just about right. When I start my new job I’ll see how much leave I have (and when the holiday year runs) and will hopefully book a few more days before Christmas.0 bonus saver

Two more days to the weekend. Just watching Sewing Bee on catchup. I'm making progress with the cardigan I'm making. I've put the heating on as it's cold this evening even with a jumper.
I have my sister and niece coming round for dinner again tomorrow. I got the leftover bolognese out of the freezer from last week and we're having that which is a cheap meal.
I'm going swimming at the lake on Saturday again which I'm looking forward to. At the end of the month I start my new job and I'm also away in London for a weekend. I have £200 saved as spending money. I'm looking forward to a little minibreak in my favourite place. I have tickets to an exhibition at the V&A, meeting up with a friend and of course, plenty of coffees.0 bonus saver

Also starting to think about my long term goals. I am wondering about planning to retire to France. I'm going to Lille next March for a few days so will explore and see what I think. It's good to have a dream!0 bonus saver
