A bit more done on the decorating front over the weekend - the ceiling has had its first coat of paint but will have to wait for the second one until next weekend when DS is free.  In the meantime, I'll get on with undercoating the woodwork.  Once he's finished the ceiling we can crack on with the walls; if he can't fit that in around his work pattern I can manage by myself.  I'm in no rush and have decided this OAT will be the main one for May.  Any others are minor non-urgent things for when I have time.
Be kind to others and to yourself too.

Read some build related documents that have been sitting in my inbox all week. I am being as on it as I can with build stuff but there's nothing quite as unappealing as a pile of encoded PDFs written in legalese

Followed the bin folk out today and threw some cheapo disinfectant in the two black wheelie bins we share with 8 other apartments. I knew they were getting pretty manky but was shocked by the maggot infestation which accounts for all the flies. Just don’t know where to go from here as I’m not prepared to negotiate with neighbours to split the cost of professional cleansing. I may have to bite the bullet and simply pay for a one off clean myself?

@Sallyforth try bleach instead of disinfectant, it's what I use to when I lived in the flat and that was a communial bin.
My on going OAT is the e-mails, I need to still do some this weekend, but I have been through the fridge and altered the meal plan to use up stuff.

I still haven't fed the camellias (it's FREEZING outside) but I have chosen paint colours for the three rooms being done this week. It's a short week, so they won't all be finished - however he can nip back and do bits when he has a short day/cancellation elsewhere.
