My OAT has been to order the paint and paint brushes to do the much needed painting.
Anyone painting radiators use the non drip thick paint, it dries lovely with no streaks and makes no difference to the heat coming off them.£71.93/ £180.006 -
@boultdj - Thanks for that tip, I shall bear this in mind when the time comes.
DS and I did more decorating prep today - as many small pieces of furniture as possible moved out of the room, masking tape applied around the ceiling and skirting boards, carpet covered up and he's done the cutting in around the ceiling. Tomorrow's plan is to sand down the door/frame and undercoat (me) and apply the first coat of paint on the ceiling (him). I haven't a clue where anything is and I'm consoling myself it has to get worse before it gets better.Be kind to others and to yourself too.5 -

OATs today:
- Planted up troughs and biggish pots with the poor strawberry plants that have been hanging around for week and already have green fruit on them!
- Cut back the dead bits of one of the big hardy fuchsias we have and then pruned it to a shape that meant we can see out from the patio 😊
- Weeded, aka beat back the bindweed, the shallots bed.
- Made a start on the same activity in the broad beans bed …. Will continue tomorrow.
KKAs at 15.07.25:

Tomorrow's OAT really needs to be feeding things in the garden. And then stopping the dog eating the bonemeal...5

Magnolia grandiflora and fruit trees fed with bonemeal.
Part-built raised bed built and installed.
Leftover bits from two other kits put together to make one more raised bed (needs ground preparing and filling, but is in position).
So... can I make up the two other small kits? And maybe get one of the other 'construction' projects out of the way? The weather isn't great, but if I did that, then tomorrow could involve actual gardening... weeding and planting and mowing and seeing how much more I can squeeze into the garden waste bins!4
