Blackcats said:@KajiKita - it's actually your fault that I bought the new pots for the cacti 🤣. When you posted a photo of your beautifully potted up plants I decided I needed to make my motley collection look better. How nice that your have flowered to thank you for your kind attention to them.
(First time was when the technical manager fessed up to robbing my red bush teabags and that he’d liked them so much he’s bought some for home! 😂😂).
And yes, my cacti seem to be putting on a charm offensive 😉❤️

Cleaned a plant pot that I've been meaning to clean for ages. It of course took about twenty seconds!
Tomorrow is only three days left till May be out so I am going to put designated time aside to have a concerted push at getting all the household repairs and maintenance the housing company is being terrible at sorting, booked in. I am not looking forward to dealing with these numpties on multiple issues but what a relief it'll be when (well, if 😁) they're all just done3 -
Good luck on your numpty mission!

Thanks @rachmach3, there are too many things dragging on for too long due to nothing but their utter ineptitude so tomorrow is the day to Have A Word.

Mr Cheery is contributing an OAT this week by buying a bracket to attach the TV to the wall. This has created another OAT - clearing out the big dresser in the living room so we can get rid of it. Mostly it's his stuff (and most of it will just go in the loft) but one shelf is old paperwork etc that I've been meaning to sort for ages - have earmarked that as a Friday job so hopefully done before May is out!3

Last push of the month tomorrow & Friday. Got some boxes of photo albums to go through & also bedroom drawers & wardrobe and kitchen cupboards. Been saying I would do them for ages.

Mr KK and I wrestled and wiggled the dishwasher into place this evening - it fits perfectly 😊
Hoping to connect up the water, waste and power tomorrow and then maybe actually use it tomorrow. 7 years without a dishwasher will finally come to an end … 👏❤️
I did a couple more mini jobs in the bedroom this evening. Found somewhere for two enormous floaty kaftans to be put away. Also swopped over the useless, annoying glasses case I have for my prescription sunglasses with the more functional case I have for a pair of non prescription sunglasses that will never be worn and have been put to charity now.KKAs at 15.07.25:

String curtain fell down so I have had a cheeky chicken in the living room but I'll put it up more securely on the weekend.Debts 04/01/25 01/07/25

After the wardrobe was delivered I rejigged the airing cupboard and moved my handbags into the new wardrobe and put the clean pet beds in black bin bags and managed to store them in the top shelf of the airing cupboard. That has made a lot of difference in floor space as the pet beds lying around were annoying me without me realising it, lol.
I finally finished my current book so that is now 10 books for the year so far. I'm not sure I'm going to make it to 100 books in 2025 at this rate as that would mean I have to read 90 more books in 7 months. I will still give it a try!
My cat has a check-up this afternoon, she seems a lot better, but I think she has lost weight. I am going out for all three days this weekend so I will be busy the next few days. I know I have a long to-do list for Monday, but I will enjoy the weekend first.6
