Pile behind the door it is then. I'll do it Saturday morning. It's mostly clothes that need to be taken to the charity bin, but I left them there on the off chance I decided to put some on vinted.
Also - I love that I can admit to my piles and messes here with no fear of nagging or criticising!
You want piles and messes? Come and visit my conservatory ....<shudder>
And yes, the lack of judgement here is lovely

I’ve just set my DW off 😎
More importantly - radishes and lettuce have been sown in the last of the planters outside the kitchen window.
Gardener is here today so last IBC has been moved and the water barrels opened, emptied and moved to the back. Edges and weeding are being done.
i need to pay the plumber, find and send a new baby present to my goddaughter, go to the picture framer, and brave the house insurance renewal. It’s gone up £200 so I can’t really ignore it and auto-renew this time! I should also finish my hand washing.

Once the gardener has gone, I need to plant more cosmos and finish mulching the borders, fill pots with compost and plant/sow stuff, and try to make some progress on the remaining veg beds.

So, my big push the other day, didn't quite get as far as I would have liked, so after I wash the dishes in a bit, I intend to start on the decluttering again and then wrap and post my friends birthday present and if i have enough to fill a bag for charity shop, I will drop that off on the way. Determined to have it all done by the end of the month

Refund requested from Octopus (they refunded £500 in March and are refunding almost as much again) and switched to variable DD so I mostly won’t be paying them. Unfortunately they can’t automatically pay me for my generation so I need to call them every couple of months to get the money back.

Collected my prescription - always a dull task but pretty critical! 😉

Quick wipe over of the TV stand and mantelpiece in the lounge.

Completely emptied, cleaned and rearranged the windowsills in the snug and the dining room at the front of the house. Now that’s a job I’ve been meaning to do for aaaages …

Put all the contents of the cupboard under the sink … back under the sink - two carrier bags of stuff off the floor! 👏 Mr KK pleased. 😁

Bagged up all the squashed aluminium foil ready to take to the recycling centre tomorrow 😊

Have been paid, so paid the plumber and gardener.

Dragged myself outside again and sowed leeks (yep, very late) and radicchio, and then poked nasturtiums into holes in various beds and scattered some wild pansy seeds around.

Also brought some pots back from the greenhouse to repot a few things on the patio.

Oh... and put the strings in for one set of broad bean supports.

I have been sore today so not nearly as much done as I wanted, but I am washed, the flat is acceptable, I didn't let my friends down by not meeting up, and I have transfered todays tasks to the next couple of days so I don't feel a day behind myself in the morning. Sometimes you have to count your wins where you can!
