Did some more receipt surveys from the never-diminishing pile! I do begrudge this job but also feel like it's silly to spend money, be presented with an opportunity to potentially get 'money' back, and not take it. Blimmin dull though so proud of myself for getting a few more done

Have topped up one of the waterbutts (5 more to do) and fed all the things that will like ericaceous feed.

Tomorrow I need to get the new hoses set up, and irrigation for the strawberry bed, as well as watering all the new trees/shrubs/hedging, and feed the roses. And plant about a billion cosmos.

    Paid the builders merchant bill.
Cleared out the cellar and kitchen fridges and ate various odd combinations of leftovers to clear them! 😉

This weekend I have finally put the valance back on my bed, after ignoring it's existence for about 6 weeks.
I also spent Friday evening sorting through one of those storage foot stools that I've shoved miscellaneous items in over the years. I found many useful things. Some of it has been put back in, but the OAT was to sort it not to empty it so I'm fine with that.
Today I will be painting my horrible massive breeze block garden wall. Again. I've been working on this for probably a couple of months and it's had 3 coats. I'm nearly done.

I booked another class for June as I'm trying to do 25 classes in 2025. :)

I got a message that the Airbnb owners haven't got back to us so we are getting a refund. I have to find another place to stay now. I am about to do that and then I need to clean the bathroom.

Hoses are on reels, but I need some more connectors. Two more water butts topped up, three to go. Trees/shrubs/hedge still need watering (will be easier when the hoses are done, bits are due tomorrow).

Tomorrow I need to work out what the measurements are for the blind that needs redoing and call them, water the fig, fruit bushes, and rhubarb, fill two more water butts, and start on the weed/cardboard/wet process for three more veg beds. Oh, and there's a wigwam to build so I can plant out the giant climbing mangetout and the bean frame to construct - runners aren't ready, but I've been given two borlottis that are.

    Greenhouse blinds need installing too.

Used up some mash before it went manky, caught up on my steps, dealt with some little bits of admin that kept being rewritten on the to-do list

And the dog asked to go out, so I've just watered the fig, rhubarb, blackcurrants, and gooseberries.

Next week's task list has been compiled.  It's a long list 🙃. Not all are OATS but the tasks are now all corralled into one place.
will discuss with MrBC tomorrow at our regular after swimming Bored Meeting in the leisure centre cafe.  We have a fully stamped loyalty card so one coffee will be free.
