Well done all on your OATS - loads smashed. Mine’s all been around the new CCTV installation which has had its hiccups. Installation went fine yesterday but once we started to learn how the two cameras worked we realised we could see more than we wanted of other folk’s gardens and less of some of our own! Also a neighbour’s cat was apparently human last night.

Friendly and helpful response from firm and a guy came out this afternoon to adjust the cameras - all well now fingers crossed. If the cat still wants to be a human that’s okay with us.

As planned I have started using my free Friday afternoons to knock holes in some of my OATs … 😊

    - Changed both duvet covers, put the summer weight duvet back on the bed with a more breathable, thin, wool blanket and packed up the winter duvet to take for cleaning.

    - Cleaned the TV stand, mantelpiece and both windowsills in the lounge and associated ornaments as far as I could. Three plants in that area tidied up and well watered.

    - Unpacked the cat food delivery box, stored the food, flattened the box and removed all labels and tape so I can use it in the garden

    - Cleaned the water filter jug and refilled the filter, recorded on the calendar when it is next due.

    - Emptied and disassembled cutlery drawer inner, knocked out the crumbs and given it a good scrub. Took the dimensions of the inner and had a look online at a replacement as the backs of the dividers are breaking down and some the cultlery, knives especially, are making bids for escape! 😉 Did some basic repairs with black packing tape and reassembled it. Will wait to discuss possible options with Mr KK before I order.

Chuffed with that as a start 😊

I've moved the cat food delivery into the utility room, and taken out two tins for their supper. At some point I'll unpack it properly...

It was getting close to that here, but I would have been so frustrated with myself if I had! 😉😂

A small but satisfying OAT for me today. I've been carrying around a £5.50 credit note for a local shop for MONTHS. Today I remembered before I went in the shop, rather than after 😂

Had to empty an embarrassing amount of old bus tickets and receipts from my purse to find it, so that'll be another OAT to tackle later 😂
